A report by RightScale 2017 showed:

79% of companies adopted cloud, with 41% in public & 38% in private

cloud.

On the other hand, Enterprises prefer

private cloud (43%) more than the public cloud

(32%).

concern.

2. Cost Estimation Due to on-demand service, cost estimation is difficult. SLA also doesn't provide the

same.

3. Portability Cloud infrastructure brings challenge with management of the data sharing between

the differently located data centers.

4. Performance and Bandwidth cost Cost of bandwidth purchase is a concern that varies according to places and users

Lack of resources (25%), security (25%), managing cloud spending (25%), compliance (23%) and governance & controls (23%) are some

great challenges faced in 2017.
