Thanks for the Likes! The Chamber reached 500 likes on our Facebook page ‐thank you for liking and visiting. We post/share membernews, event news, pictures and any and all items we thinkyou'll find helpful or interesting.
That brings to mind ‐ the Cowichan Regional Visitor Centre has a great Facebookpage ‐ with latest news on events, whale sightings, tips on accommodations, availability, attractions, and more and more. All particularly helpful during thesummer season! We can't imagine why they are only at 416 likes ‐ and (truth be told)they are NOT happy about coming second. So, help us keep peace here at the office, and like the Visitor Centre page to get them up to 500 likes. With all the greatinformation, yo'll be glad you did (and so will we!).

Unsworth Restaurant ‐ Jan's Restaurant Pick of the WeekThere aren't enough adjectives to describe the decadent dishes and charmingambiance at Unsworth Restaurant and Vineyard. Even the salad dressing is so deliciousI confess to sipping the tiny puddle of it remaining in my bowl. Of course fine wine isplentiful at Unsworth. We are fond of Timbuktu which pairs superbly with the SteakFrites. This week we chose the Roasted Duck Breast, succulent and moist along withtwo very delicious small plates, the Asparagus, Leek and Mushroom Risotto, and Grilled Whole Spot Prawns. Views of the vineyard, alive with colourful chickensmeandering between the vines, beautiful gardens, flowing water features and tastingroom add to the experience.
