ABSTRACT
In this changing world, self-transformation is the ultimate objective to promote and develop
the youths spiritually, mentally and physically in order to achieve the goal of life which is self-
realization, experiencing or blossoming the inherent qualities latent in ourselves. The project aims
at expanding the platform created by SSSSO and strengthening it by cooperation and enhancing
the activities among youths in SSSSO and others by large. The project involves identification of
the alumni of SSS Institutions and Bal vikas along with new youth members of SSSSO in the state
who are not actively involving currently by taking an online survey through contacting via mobile
phones. The survey will identify and systematically categorise the youths into three categories viz.
employed, unemployed and students according to their current statuses. This will also help in
bringing out the problems faced in their career and personal life. Then involvement in the
organisation will also be taken into consideration. Satsang with Sai elders, career counselling by
experienced resource persons identified by the organisation will be conducted and the number of
attendances will be recorded for each session to monitor the involvement of the participants. They
will also be invited to participate in the ongoing online satsang conducted every alternate day
organized by the Youth wing of the organization. The main problems faced by the target group
and the reason for not taking part in the organisational activities will also be investigated.
Theoretical disaster awareness session will also be conducted for the target group. The impact of
the programmes especially the growth in the number of participants and the positive change in
their attitudes and commitments will be monitored and reported.

CHAPTER-1
PROJECT SUMMARY
The project is taken up as a part of the Sri Sathya Sai National Leadership Program for
Self-Transformation, 2020. As youth is the founding pillar of the future, the Spiritual involvement
is an important dimension in their mental and physical development. Hence the project aims at
bringing unity among the young members, alumni of SSS Institute and Balvikas to build a greater
youth community and connected circle for SSSSO to endeavour Self transformation. The project
started with an idea of association with the alumni of SSS Institute and Bal vikas along with new
youth members of SSSSO in the state who are inactive currently to identify their interests and
skills. An online survey was conducted through contacting via mobile phones and google forms.
The survey identified and categorised the youths into three categories according to their current
statuses. The project covered various range of online sessions from Satsang with Sai elders to
career counselling by experienced resource persons within the organization and education in
Human Values. Theoretical disaster awareness session and pre sevadal training were also
conducted. In addition to these sessions, the participants were invited in the ongoing online Vahini
series satsang conducted on every alternate day organized by the Youth Wing. These sessions were
indeed helpful and sparked a light of hope of self-transformation on each project members as well
as the youth participants. Earlier when we started the project, the number of youth members in the
organization was negligible. Along with this project there seems to be a new movement of youths
within the organization. the accumulative contacted person was around 90 both mahilas and gents
together. However, due to various reason, the number of participants who remain in the program
till the end was 60. Despite our immense efforts, there was a decline in number. This has remained
as an incomplete task. Besides these minor obstacles, overall impact of this project on the growth
and collaboration of youth members has increased gradually. The positive change in their attitudes
and commitments towards the organization is worth mentioned.

CHAPTER-5
PROJECT FLOW
The conception and the identification of the project was formulated in Phase 1. Discussing
the feasibility and importance of youths in SSSSOM, the project was chosen and titled as
“Connecting Youth in promoting Unity is Divinity” aiming to bring out the values in every young
individuals and work for a common goal to elevate ourselves. With the approval from SSSNLP
academic board members, we moved ahead to the planning of the project.
Coming to Phase 2, We identified the youths who were going to participate in the project
with the help of District Presidents and Samithi Convenors. Bal-Vikas gurus and State Education
Coordinator also took keen responsibility in finding out the Bal-Vikas alumni and youths. With
the help of State Youth Coordinators (Gents and Mahilas), we engaged with the youths and
collected their database through google questionnaire forms. And their registration was completed.
An initial budget analysis was carried out and a detailed Work Breakdown Structure was also
charted out. Roles of responsibility of the project team members were mapped out
In Phase 3 and Phase 4, participants were systematically categorized and formed separate
groups according to their educational backgrounds. Discussion was enhanced regarding the topic
selection with the State President which were going to be delivered in the online sessions. Then
we identified the subject experts and approached them. Online sessions were scheduled twice a
week on every Sunday and Thursday. On 18th September 2020, our project was officially launched
in the presence of All India President and National Bal Vikas Coordinator. Starting with
introduction to Swayam and IITPAL, we proceeded the online sessions which covered career
counselling, education in human values, pre-sevadal training and disaster awareness programme.
We also had sessions on interaction among the youths and sharing experiences of their journey
with Swami. These sessions were recorded for post evaluation. In addition, regular Vahini series
satsangs were conducted on every alternate day. Notifications and links of few government exams
were also provided. Every progress was updated regularly to the State President and Project
Leaders.
Phase 5 deals with the project evaluation at State Level, discussing about the impacts on
individual and organization. The core values of the project, project efficiency and time
