Header: on the top of the contents page is a header which shows the page title in black “contents” and right beside it is the date which it was issued on in red. This is known as a header as it is on the top of the page. The creator of the magazine used different color for “contents” and “December 2010” so that they were not confused.

Masthead: the masthead is in a large font, written in the color black. This is bigger than usual mastheads, shown on contents pages. This is very eye catching or the readers. Vogue usually writes “Vogue” in a large size on the contents page.

The highlighted image takes up most of the content pages space. The remaining space is used to cover contents and other things. The main image shows a model posing in her flashing outfit, in front of a grey background. This gives the reader an idea of the important features inside the magazine. It’s a full shot of model. She is looking in the camera.

Subtitles are shown on the content page as well. With each subtitle a page number and short description is given. Page numbers are give for reference. Titles of various topics are given.Subtitles are also given.

Magazine name / column heading :These billboard magazine has a special convention of its content page. I agree that other magazines do have columns, but this magazine has a separate one on the left hand side which is not in continuousness with the rest of the columns. The column shows us music charts. The music charts are written in blue, red , yellow and a few others. This makes it look more prettier and striking. The column title is bigger than the magazine name because the main focus is on the titles, not the magazine name.

Page title: The page title is in the right column of the contents page. It is written in capital letters so that it is visible to the readers. Bellow it is the issue date and the volume number highlighted in blue. Highlighted image and contents: the highlighted image shows the model dressed up and posing for the camera. She is smiling and behind her is a white background making her black clothes eye catching. Colum's are shown beside the image, while the section title is in black font. The subtitles are blue in color , with the descriptions in blacksecondary images : these photos are of other featured articles, which are present in the magazine. There are below the title name and also have their page numbers mentioned. No description given about what they are about. The whole purpose is to make the reader curious and to make him read the article.

Magazine information: This is mentioned at the bottom of the page, consisting of all the other things the magazines does. A footer is present at the bottom which includes the date and web address.

All these items are shown in the header as all are located at the top of the contents page . The magazines title name is present in the top left corner. Right next to it is the page title written in white, while it has a black background. The date, volume edition and web address are shown on the top right right corner.

Highlighted image: The highlighted image is placed on the right side of the page. It shows a man posing casually for the camera. There is a light grey background in the picture. There is some anchoring text at the bottom left of the image.

Contents:The contents are present in a separate column on the left side of the page. The section title is written in white on a red background. The page numbers of the contents are in red and the subtitles are in black. I unusual section is seen which is written in beige. All subtitles are in black while the page numbers in beige. The lowest part of the column shows the mutual features present in every issue. The red and black theme is continued here.

Review sectionThe review section includes an other photo and a star name as well. The top includes the section title and the magazine logo and a subtitle. Below these are music news and music albums. Which are in the magazine .
