When you receive your Octopus Citibank Credit Card...• Sign on the back of the card immediately for your protection• Call the Activation Hotline (refer to Citibank Online / 24-Hour CitiPhone

Banking Leaflet) to activate your credit card. You will only receive theOctopus Automatic Add Value Service ("AAVS") Activation Letter afteryou have activated your credit card

• Upon receiving the AAVS Activation Letter, please visit any MTR StationCustomer Service Centre to activate the AAVS function

• The first AAVS reload transaction will be triggered upon your first spendingwith Octopus

Note: any single transaction is either settled by your Credit Card orOctopus function, no transaction can be paid partially by your CreditCard and partially by your Octopus.

• Destroy original printed copy of PIN after memorizing it• Don't write down or record the PIN without disguising it• Avoid easily accessible personal numbers, such as residential telephone

number, I.D. card number, or birthday. For security reasons, you areadvised to change your PIN every one to three months. You may visitany one of the Citibank ATMs to choose or change your PIN

• Ensure no one is watching you while you key in your PIN• Citibank staff, Octopus staff or the Police will NEVER request your

PIN via email or telephone. You are ONLY required to key-in your PINwhen you proactively access Citibank Online at www.citibank.com.hk,24-Hour CitiPhone Banking Hotline*, or an ATM

• If your PIN is lost or known by another person, please immediatelycall our 24-Hour CitiPhone Banking Hotline* to report the case

You may apply for supplementary cards for family members, relativesor friends, who are 16 years old or above, whose Cards will beautomatically linked for AAVS to the Principal Cardholder's creditcard account.

Note: Octopus Citibank Credit Card cannot register for studenttransportation privileges until further notice.

1.4 Reloading your Octopus Citibank Credit CardWhen the remaining value of your principal and/or supplementaryOctopus reaches zero, negative, or when its remaining value plus thenegative value is insufficient to settle the full cost of the transaction,AAVS will be automatically triggered. These transaction amounts (i.e.HK$250) will be charged onto your Octopus Citibank Credit Cardaccount.

2.1.1 Earning Octopus Cash

With Octopus Citibank Credit Card, you can spend with yourcredit card (including AAVS and retail spending) to enjoy 0.5%Octopus Cash rebate on all credit card spending for offsettingAAVS transaction(s).

• Octopus Cash is accumulated in the Principal Cardholder'scredit card account

• Your earned Octopus Cash will be accumulated and displayedin Octopus Cash Summary Box on your statement (pleaserefer to Statement Sample in section 5)

2.1.2 Redeeming Octopus Cash

• Octopus Cash will be automatically credited to your monthlystatement upon meeting the following requirements:- Minimum rebate carried over from previous month > HK$5

Octopus Cash- At least one AAVS transaction is made from the Account

and posted to the current monthly statement• You will only be able to redeem carried over Octopus Cash

from previous month

2.2 Octopus RewardsOctopus Citibank Principal / Supplementary Credit Cardholders areautomatically enrolled into the Octopus Rewards Programme. You willreceive Reward$ from Octopus Rewards Partners and offers fromOctopus Rewards Limited and Octopus Rewards Partners.

With your Octopus Citibank Credit Card, you can earn Reward$ issuedby Octopus Rewards Partners whether you pay by credit card, Octopus,or by other acceptable payment methods. Reward$ can be earnedat the rate of at least 0.5% of your spending# at designated RewardsPartners.# Minimum spending for earning Reward$ is HK$2. Reward$1 will be earned for any purchase value of HK$200.

2.8.2 Transactions Made Outside Hong Kong

2.8.2.1 Credit Card TransactionsTransactions made in currencies other than HongKong dollars are converted from the transactioncurrency into Hong Kong dollars at a wholesalemarket rate selected by VISA from within a rangeof wholesale market rates on the conversion day.

2.8.2.2 Octopus TransactionsTransactions made in Macau follow the exchangerate for Macau Pataca (MOP) to Hong Kong dollarsat MOP1: HKD1.Transactions made in Shenzhen, follow the exchangerate Renminbi (RMB) to Hong Kong dollars set byindividual merchants. The payment amount in HongKong dollars is rounded to the nearest decimal placeafter the conversion. The exchange rate is clearlyshown on signage displayed by merchants in theiroutlets and transaction amounts in both RMB andHong Kong dollars are printed on the paymentreceipts. Customer enquiries regarding currencyconversion matters should be directed to themerchants.

2.9 Financial Flexibility2.9.1 Flexible Repayment Options

You are not required to pay your account in full. Each monthyou can pay any amount between the established minimummonthly payment and the entire balance. If you pay less thanthe full balance, a finance charge calculated on daily basis atthe rate as specified in the Octopus Citibank Credit CardAgreement will be levied to your account.

2.9.2 Repayment PeriodYou normally have a minimum of Statement Date plus 26 daysto make payment on your Octopus Citibank Credit Card account,notwithstanding payment can be made at any time on orbefore the Payment Due Date. If the Payment Due Date is noton a business day (a day other than Saturday, Sunday, or publicholiday on which banks are open for general business in HongKong), the exact Payment Due Date will be set on the previousbusiness day.

2.9.3 Worldwide Cash Advances5

You will be provided with a Personal Identification Number(PIN) within 7 days of receiving your Octopus Citibank CreditCard. With your PIN, you can use your Octopus Citibank CreditCard to obtain cash up to your Cash Advance Limit at thefollowing locations:• All Citibank branches and ATMs in Hong Kong• Nearly 370,000 ATMs around the world, including JETCO,

VISA/PLUS. That's more than any other credit cards – justlook for the following symbols:

In the event that you forget or misplace your PIN, please callthe 24-Hour CitiPhone Banking 2860 0333. We'll be happy tore-send the old PIN to you or issue you a new one.

2.10 Lost Card Protection

2.10.1 Total Lost Card Protection

If your principal and/or supplementary card is lost or stolen,report it immediately to the police and 24-Hour CitiPhoneBanking 2860 0333. You will be protected from total liability6.Upon successful report loss, all cards (principal andsupplementary cards) sharing same credit card account numberwill have credit card function and Octopus function to beblocked, which cannot be cancelled or reversed. Replacementcard(s) will be issued.

• Upon successful report loss, the remaining value of eachprincipal and/or supplementary Octopus Citibank CreditCard's Octopus function (6 hours after successful reportloss) will be posted into your replacement principal creditcard account within 2 statement cycles

• Upon successful report loss, each credit cardholder (i.e.principal and supplementary cardholder) may recover theirrespective Reward$ from Octopus Rewards Stations 2 weeksfrom replacement card issuance date. Please collect therecovered Reward$ within 15-30 days from the new Cardissuance date at any Octopus Rewards Station, otherwiseit will be forfeited without notice

Note : the same procedures for recovering Octopus remainingvalue and Reward$ apply to replacement and renewal card.

2.10.2 Worldwide Emergency Card Replacement Service

To report your card as lost or stolen in Hong Kong, call the24-Hour CitiPhone Banking 2860 0333 any day of the year.A new card will be issued to you by Citibank (Hong Kong)Limited, once you have notified us of this loss or theft.

• The remaining statement balance will be transferred to yournew Card

• You will be auto-enrolled for AAVS and Octopus RewardsProgramme upon card issuance

• You will receive an AAVS Activation Letter after your creditcard activation

• Remaining balance from your lost Octopus (after 6 hoursof successful report loss) will be transferred to your newCard

• Remaining Reward$ from your lost Octopus will betransferred to your new Card upon your visit to the OctopusRewards Stations 2 weeks from the new Card issuance date(please visit www.octopusrewards.com.hk for details)

Each supplementary cardholder (aged over 16 years) shares the sameaccount number and credit limit as yours. To apply, simply complete andreturn the enclosed application form with the copy of the card applicant'sidentification document.

• Supplementary and Principal cardholders will be jointly liable fortransactions made with Credit Card and Octopus functions

• Supplementary cardholders’ credit card spending earning Citibank OctopusCash Rebate will be consolidated on Principal Cardholder’s credit cardaccount

2.11 Promotional Materials• If you choose not to receive marketing materials from Citibank,

please inform Citibank in writing in case of such a request (FaxNo.: 2968 4127 or GPO Box 3463)

• If you choose not to receive marketing materials from OctopusCards Limited ("OCL"), please inform OCL in writing in case ofsuch a request (Fax No.: 2266 2211 or PO Box 38170, Hing Fat StreetPost Office)

4.2 JET PaymentYou can access your bank account via JETCO ATMs in Hong Kongthat bear JET Payment logo to settle your Octopus Citibank CreditCard payment anytime, anywhere.

4.3 Payment by Phone or Internet ServicesPayment by Phone Services or Internet (PPS) allows you to settleyour Octopus Citibank Credit Card account by transferring fundsfrom any designated bank account in Hong Kong using a tone phoneor at www.ppshk.com anywhere, anytime, free of charge. Simplyopen a PPS account through a PPS Terminal with your ATM card.Then, you can register, and pay into your Octopus Citibank CreditCard account from any tone phone. Our PPS merchant code is 15.

4.4 FlexiAutopayFlexiAutopay saves you time and eliminates the risk of missing yourpayment due date. To use this convenient service, all you need is a HongKong Dollar savings or current account with any bank in Hong Kong.

To enroll for this service, simply log onto Citibank Online(www.citibank.com.hk) or Citigold Online (www.citigold.com.hk) todownload the FlexiAutopay Authorization Form or complete theenclosed FlexiAutopay Authorization Form and return it to Citibank(Hong Kong) Limited.

4.5 Check or Cash

4.5.1 Citibank ATMs

at our 24-Hour Citibank ATMs.

4.5.2 Citibank Branch "Drop Box"

Simply seal your check and payment slip in an envelope, anddrop them into the clearly marked "Drop Box" in any of ourbranches at least 2 working days before the payment due date.

4.5.3 Payment by Mail

Simply mail your check and payment slip to Citibank (HongKong) Limited, G.P.O. Box 8776, Hong Kong at least 5 workingdays before the payment due date.

Remarks: 1) For cut-off times, please refer to the enclosed "FlexiAutopay AuthorizationForm"

2) Checks should be made payable to "Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited" for theaccount of your credit card account number.
