than 70 percent of energy is consumed
in urban areas.

Since 2008, about 7200 local governments and self-governments with more then 225 Mln inhabitantsaround the globe have made a voluntary commitmentto strive for sustainable energy development at locallevel.

VERY HIGH Financial Trainings that was identified as most requested topic by
Georgian signatories will be focusing on transforming SEAP measures
into the financial projects and also increase capacities within signatories
in conducting primary financial calculations necessary for the
preparation of bankable projects. At list 4 national training to be
conducted on the project financing within CoM East project.
Joint SEAP/SECAP including monitoring Training for the Signatories and
CTC/CNC&CS representatives on CoM new goals and its methodologies.
With specific focus on joint SECAP development methodologies.
Trainings on thematic clusters for SEAP implementation (adaptation and
mitigation; transport; street lighting; onsite power generation;
adaptation; awareness rising & PR )
Based on the country specific capacity needs assessment report
prioritization of the thematic trainings to be conducted and 3 national
