Creating a Dashboard from a Report 1. Go to the Reports Tab and click New Dashboard.

2. You can type a description of your dashboard here. Also you can select the size

for the dashboard graphic display area from the drop-down menu. There are three choices from the drop-down menu which are Narrow, Medium, and Wide.

3. Next, select the Components tab and choose what type of dashboard informational graphic you would like to use. Drag that into the column. You may also enter a header, title, or footer once the graphic is in place.

4. Next you will want to select the Data Sources tab. Expand the My Personal Custom Reports to reveal the reports you have created and would like to use in the dashboard graphic. Drag that into the column over the small graphic. You may also enter a header, title, or footer once the graphic is in place.

5. Once the report is dragged over into the column your informational graphic will appear with the report’s data.

6. Click the wrench icon to change the look of the graphic. The graphic will change automatically when you select a different icon from the top row.

7. The Component Data Tab contains drop-down menu choices for display of Values, Wedges, Display Units, and Drill Down to.

8. Once you have made the changes you desire, click Save As. You will want to be sure you save the dashboard in the My Personal Dashboards folder. Click Save.
