Lessening the carbon footprint

These three global cities (NYC, Paris, Sydney) share the value they see in preserving their environment while maintaining there way of life

Factors that contribute to the potential carbon footprint are:

population, economic output and energy and carbon intensity

Efforts to lessen the carbon footprint are underway: Decrease the amount of energy needed for production or to decrease the dependence on carbon emitting fuels

Consumer products are a large part of figuring the carbon footprint around you. Package materials, carpet, tires and building materials are some product being evaluated to reduce their footprint

Alternate power sources are being tested to potentially leave less of a carbon footprint on the world.
