ELD diamond discs are grinding wheels with a metal body onto which the diamond is electroplated. Because there is no bonding agent to fix the abrasive, the diamond is right on the surface, allowing a clean cut. This wheel, designed for cutting plastics and composites, also performs well on polyurethane foams, plaster, concrete and rock. ELD wheels do not require dressing but a dressing stick can be used occasionaly, to clean them.

A clean attackThe diamond layer is electrodeposited, and the absence of a bonding agent ensures maximum cutting power of the diamond. The cut is clean, minimizing surface tears and material embrittlement.

RobustnessThe metal core procures excellent rigidity, thus minimising wheel deviations during cutting.
