To enjoy the vacation and stay cool.

We are free to do anything we like,

Playing, reading or gardening.

We will sleep on time,

and rise with the bright sun.

Dear Parents

Kids look forward to the summer vacation all year long. They look forward to

having loads of fun and family time. With summer vacation right around the

corner, its time to generate certain ideas to help children have a memorable

vacation.

• Have at least two meals together with your children. Teach them the

importance of food and hard work put in by the farmers and ask them not to

waste their food.

• Share stories of your childhood.

• Parents are requested to only guide their children while doing the

assignment. Originality of work will be appreciated.

• Project/homework will be assessed on the basis of neatness, creativity.

and originality of ideas.

• Assign your children a few tasks which they can easily accomplish like

filling water bottles, keeping them in the refrigerator, watering the plants,

cleaning dishes, folding washed clothes etc.

➢ All the assigned work of English is to be done in a scrap book.

1. Let’s learn more about words. Draw or Cut/ Paste following (10 each) -

• Opposite words

• Masculine and feminine words

• Singular Plural words

• Kinds of Noun

2. Read the newspaper daily, write down two words with their meanings for any 15

days. Make your own personal dictionary. Mention the name and date of the

newspaper. Your dictionary should have 30 words (in scrapbook)

3. Describe the following pictures in 10 lines.

TAJ-MAHAL

1. The Taj Mahal is the greatest glory of the Mughals. It is a tomb built by Shahjahan. Shah

Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal were buried in it. But their bodies were not

preserved, like those of the ancient Egyptian kings.The architect who built the Taj

mahal was Ustad Isa. Shahjahan told him that the Taj Mahal must be one of the

wonders of the world. It is difficult to imagine how much time time and labour from all

over the country and perhaps many more slaves worked on it for about seventeen

years. India is grateful to Shahjahan and Ustad Isa because the Taj is a work of art and it

will remain an everlasting wonder of the world.

SUBJECT- MATHS

IV 1.Revise unit 1,Unit- 2 and Unit -3 in rough notebook. 2.Learn and write Tables 2-16(3 times) in rough notebook.

1.Make table booklet of tables 2-15 of any shape like apple, tree etc 2. Paste any five 4-6 digit numbers from newspaper(Old/New) on A4/A3 size sheet. Then Rollno 1-10:- Write their number names and expanded form. Rollno11-20:- Write ascending order and descending order of these numbers. Rollno 21-30:- Find thedifference between greatest and Smallest numbers. Find the sum of any four numbers.

SUBJECT- SOCIAL SCIENCE

1. Make a brochure of any place that you love to visit including its dance form,

language, food style, dressing style etc.

2. Draw and explain the “Brick Making Process” on an A3 size sheet.

3. Paste the pictures of any 5 indoor and outdoor games with its rule and regulation in

scrap book and also decorate it beautifully.

4. Draw a timeline on “Evolution of Means of Transport “on a colourful chart paper and

decorate it beautifully.

5. Create a model of any type of house with the help of glass, card boxes, ice cream

sticks ,straw, dry leaves, stones, pebbles, cotton etc.

6. Read all the lesson done in class.

7. Learn and write all the work done in notebook in your practice notebook.

SUBJECT- SCIENCE

1) Make a working model of LUNGS using the material available at home.

2) Prepare a beautiful poster and write a slogan on SAVE WATER.

3) Prepare a beautiful brochure/magazine on different types of flowers and fruits by pasting

pictures.

4) Prepare a skit including your family members on USES OF PLANTS.

5) Find out any ten amazing facts on MY BODY and write down in any sheet available at

home.?(A3/ A4 or any other)

6) Sing a song or speak a poem on 'Nature'. Record your video for the same.

7) Complete all question-answers of lesson 1,2 and 3.Learn them thoroughly and practice all

the diagrams given to you related to the lessons.
