Established Memorandum of Understanding between the District of 100 Mile House and UNBC to work together to advance agricultural research in the region (MoU signed September 2010). As part of this effort, I hosted an information session between representatives of 100 Mile House and UNBC researchers to discuss the proposed Agriculture Enterprise Development Centre.

Working with the Omineca Beetle Action Coalition to establish a research institute at UNBC focussed on food and feed systems in northern BC. Prepared a prospectus for the institute. Met with UNBC’s VP Research. Consulted with Directors of existing research institutes on campus.
