Accommodation

SPACE HOTEL 380 RUSSEL STREET

Delegates will be staying in the conveniently located Space Hotel, a stone throw away from the Design Hub and Melbourne Central. In their free time, delegates may enjoy the hotel’s movie space, air conditioned gym, lounge area, internet café or food space. The highlight area will be the Space deck where delegates can enjoy the swim spa or simply admire the Melbourne scenery from this rooftop retreat

Public TransportA MYKI CARD is required in order to use public transport services (trams, trains and buses) in Melbourne. They can be purchased and topped up at major train stations and convenient stores such as 7-Eleven.

To avoid being fined, Myki cards must be topped up with credit and also be ‘touched on’ at the beginning and ‘touched off’ at the end of each trip.

What to do on Monday13th1. Delegates arrive at Space hotel by 11AM

2. Delegates to contact Alice Tang, she will tell you your room allocation and where to meet (VICCON delegates should already have this information)

3. Delegates to go to meeting area at 1130AM to have their names ticked off

4. Delegates will together as a group, be escorted to the Design Hub at 1145AM

If for any reason you are late to the meeting area, contact Alice Tang for further instruction

NATCON delegatesAfter Natcon, delegates will be taken directly to the Melbourne CBD area. From their, they are expected report to Alice Tang. She will guide you to the Space hotel where you can drop off your luggage, and settle for the night. Alice will tell you your room allocation.

LEADCon does not officially start until 12pm Monday 13th July. Delegates are free to roam the Melbourne city and are expected to have already enjoyed a filling meal before official LEADCon check-ins.

EXPLORING THE CITY OF MELBOURNE

After Viccon, free time is available for attendants to use that time to explore the city of Melbourne . You may choose to stroll through Flinders lane for some lunch, walk down Swanston street for an array of Asian food or explore Lygon Street for the many Italian restaurants.
