Welcome to a new UBC-MDRU seminar series, to share ideas and stories from diamond exploration, kimberlite geology, and related topics. We will meet downtown every one-to-two months for a talk, and a trip to the nearest pub.

Newly discovered, nitrogen-rich fluid inclusions and melt inclusions in diamond argue that nitrogen is more than just a trace impurity. It’s presence provides insight into mantle volatiles and diamond genesis.
