Motivation behind the Motivation behind the PhDEIPhDEI• Aim at establishing an association of PhD students

for PhD students feel and breathe the affiliation to the PhD school

• Propose activities aiming at fostering the acquaintance between PhD students: on a personal level concerning research activities

• Help not to forget the past (alumni and their experiences)

• Promote the future of post-docs... ... in companies ... in other universities

• An association based on people and not on roles: the individuality should be favored take care of individuals to build a strong team

• An association based on roles and not on people: it should be independent of the people involved

today (continuity) it cannot rely only on the initial enthusiasm and on

the efforts of few people

• Let’s work together but the organization has to be: agile decentralized shared
