Do you know this world ?
• Dipti’s parents don’t think about whether she will grow up to be an engineer or a doctor but instead about who will take care of her after they are not around?
• Rajeev is refused admission in a typical Day Care Centre considering “It would adversely affect the rest of the children”
• Anuj just completed his Grade 10 exams through a special school after tremendous effort. Coping with further studies is difficult. The School cannot keep him because of lack of seats. His parents ask - What next?

• Did you know that there are over 3.23 crores of individuals with some form of disability in India alone?
• Did you know that in India only 2% of all people with disability have any kind of aid?
Do You Know This World?
• It’s not my problem!
• I don’t care..
• My Life is about My success alone
• It’s a “Dog Eat Dog” world out there.. “Survival of the Fittest”

Why Should I Care?

Why Should I Care?

Why Should I Care?
Why Should I Care?
You are a part of an interconnected
ecosystem.
It does matter!!
- Corporate Social Responsibility is not the latest bullet or business fad, it is not a philanthropic idea. It is an imperative for both business and the countries we are operating in.
Why Should I Care?
Whatever we do today will have an impact on future generations. It’s not just my kids or your kids or somebody else’s. It’s future generations. We should not hope that the walls we build to protect ourselves will be tall enough to protect our children. Only with very conscious effort we can make the world for them a better place to live…even if we address our most selfish needs we have to address the needs of the next generation.

Why Should I Care? - The Big Picture
- “Corporate Social Responsibility is not a cosmetic; it must be rooted in our values. It must make a difference to the way we do our business and lead our lives.”
- “You cannot talk about CSR unless you love your people and your country”
- “There is no such thing as business ethics….There’s just ethics; and we all have to practice them every day in everything we do.”
– Peter Drucker
