Virtues in Practice ProgramAsk Your Child About this month’s virtue… Here at St. Stephen Catholic School we use The Virtues in Practice Program, which was created by the Dominican Sisters. The goal of Catholic education is heaven, but know-ledge alone will not get us there! Virtues inPractice helps students to live out the faithin their everyday lives. Each year has a virtue/theme of study; this year’s virtue is CHARITY andthe theme is COMMUNITY. This month’s virtue is:Respect – recognizing the dignity of all people. Our focus saints are: St. Jeanne Jugan, St. Damien of Molokai and St. John Paul II Look these saints up and consider how they livedthe virtue of purity in their lives.

Middle School Language Arts Position Opening in 2019-2020

I would like to thank Ms. Cheryl Cormier for her service, dedication and hard work here at SSCS for the past 6 years. Cheryl has decided that at the end of this school year, it’s time for her to move on. I wish her only the best. I know that she will be missed.

With that said, an employment advertisement seeking to fill this upcoming staff opening is running as we seek out another great teacher for our students. Please let me know if any of you would be interested, or if you know of any teachers who would be a good fit at SSCS. Blessings, Mrs. Oliver

The Catholic Worldview

Most Catholics experience the faith through a single cultural lens. Yet people all around the world live and imagine it in a rich diversity of ways. Catholics & Cultures is a growing, changing chronicle of the role of Catholicism among the people and within the cultures where it is lived.
