HAPPY EASTER JOY AND HOPE

Dear brothers and sisters in the risen Lord,

How grateful and joyous we are to celebrate Easter Joy and Hope this year! The

unforgettable negative impact of the pandemic of the Coronavirus and the subsequent

restrictions to contain the virus infections prevented us to congregate together to

celebrate Easter in 2020. What a joy to be able to come to the church to celebrate the

resurrection of Christ the Lord within the permitted protocols! We cannot be more

than grateful and praiseworthy to God for this opportunity to celebrate the passion,

death, and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ willingly took upon himself our offences and was nailed on the cross.

But God rose him from death to glorious resurrection that all who believe and hope in

him may never perish but rise with him to eternal life. The joy and hope of the

resurrection for us is to be like Mary of Magdala, Simon Peter and the beloved

disciple of Jesus who fearlessly witnessed and proclaimed resurrection of Jesus

Christ.
