Description This project is developed to activate the

communication between the schools and ministry and between the school and community. To overcome this problem and other technical problems, there was a need to implement educational portal project.

It is a mean of communication between the databases of the Ministry and the Ministry audience, whether they are teaching staff or management staff in all positions.

ObjectivesThe educational portal project connects the

objectives of the Ministry of Education to the objectives of the community through the provision of electronic services.

Improve the quality in the educational process , providing an attractive education using interactive tools and innovative techniques.

Provide education outside classroom, through the use of modern techniques which are part of the portal.

Facilitating the administrative procedures and set a mechanism of follow-up, providing accurate data for statistics and reports

Evaluating the educational portal using ACTION model

We choose this model because we want to evaluate the whole project, it’s technical and pedagogical features.

We evaluate this project from three dimensions:Accessibility.Teaching and learning.Interactivity and user-friendliness.

information or data uploaded to the website and care about the authenticity?

Do the objectives of the website clear?Does the website have the Credibility?does the website documenting all important

events related to users?

does the website content and structure relating to the users educational level and age?

does the website gives sufficient information to users in which there will be no need to search about then in other places?

- Does the web site comply with the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (www.w3.org/TR/WAI-WEBCONTENT/)? Is the web site Bobby-approved (bobby.watchfire.com/bobby/html/en/index.jsp)?

- Does the web site provide visually-impaired and other handicapped [disabled] users the option of viewing a "text-only" page, or is each link labeled with text labels that pop up when the cursor rolls over the link, or is each link labeled with text labels that pop up when the cursor rolls over the link?

- All users are entitled to see and use legal information posted at the web sites.

- Is the web site viewable and functional with as many browser versions as feasible?

- Government web sites should be accessible from any web browser, not just the latest [or only earlier] versions of a single commercial product.

- Does the web site provide an email link to the person[s] responsible for managing the web site? Does the collection of legal information bear a contact link?

- At the very least, each government web site should provide an email link and full address and phone number so that users can report broken links or problems with accessing material at the web site. Ideally, users should also be able to email a responsible government official with questions about legal content. Email recipients should respond promptly to questions and reported problems.
