On the King Street Wharf overlooking the conjunction of the North Esk and Tamar Rivers, a piece of Launceston history has been converted into an architectural triumph. The shell of dilapidated grain silos have been revitalised, transforming them into an inspirational meeting place, complete with sweeping views of Seaport, Royal Park, the Tamar River Basin and Cataract Gorge.
Welcome to Peppers Silo Hotel, a meeting and events venue for 10 to 180 delegates or guests, combining historic charm with cutting edge design and technology. Your delegates will enjoy insights into river life of yesteryear in between participating in activities uniquely offered by the surrounds, including river cruises, mountain biking, or food and wine trails through the Tamar Valley region. The maritime romance of a riverfront location will continue to work its charm as delegates dine on local produce at the on-site Grain of the Silos Restaurant, or retire for the evening to their stylish accommodation with dramatic water views.

Peppers Silo Hotel is a sophisticated meeting and conferencing venue, with several distinctive spaces to cater for all functions, including intimate meetings of 10 through to events with up to 180 attendees.

Conference venues
Gorge/River RoomSimilar in size and design, the Gorge and River Rooms are located on the first floor of the Western Silo. The purpose-built rooms accommodate for up to 18 attendees in boardroom seating and boast spectacular views over the Cataract Gorge and Tamar River. The Gorge and River Rooms also feature access to the Kings Wharf Outdoor Deck.
Town Point Function RoomOn the first floor, the Town Point Function Room caters for up to 100 people in theatre-style layout, or alternatively 80 guests in banquet-style. This stylish and spacious conference room also provides access to the Kings Wharf Outdoor Deck, adjacent to Woody’s Bar.
Kings Wharf Lounge WestThe expansive Kings Wharf Lounge West is a multi-purpose space, perfect for large group functions. Featuring floor to ceiling windows showcasing the beautiful view, this modern space can accommodate for up to 180 guests for a cocktail-style function.
Kings Wharf Outdoor DeckPerfect for open-air occasions is the expansive Kings Wharf Outdoor Deck, accommodating for up to 500 guests for a cocktail event.
Your delegates can relax with a glass of the region’s finest, while taking in the stunning views over the Tamar River and Cataract Gorge entrance.

The conference room at Peppers York Cove has plenty of natural light and opens to a private grassed courtyard. The space is located on the ground floor of the Terminal Building and is available for conferences, training and seminars 7 days a week. The property also offers a smaller semi-private space within Cove Restaurant which boasts brilliant views across the Tamar River and is also available for hire for casual meetings or training.

Tamar River Room The Tamar River Room will provide the perfect retreat for up to two delegates. Rooms feature an exclusive ‘Silo Experience’ king bed or two king single beds, lounging area, spacious bathroom and serene views of the river.
Tamar River Twin RoomTwin share has never been more comfortable than in a Tamar River Twin Room, featuring two ‘Silo Experience’ queen beds and stunning views of the river. Rooms accommodate up to four adults, and are located on levels two to four of the North Wing Building.
Gorge River Room Bask in the serenity from your Gorge River Room with its stunning views. Catch up on emails at your work desk, and enjoy a restful sleep in your ‘Silo Experience’ king bed. Gorge River Rooms are located on levels two and three of the Silo Building and Disabled Access Rooms are available on request.
Tamar River SuiteTamar River Suites will provide your delegates with extra room to stretch out, featuring a private sunroom and lounge area with a fold-out sofa bed. Relax in stylish surrounds with décor featuring recycled wood design elements with industrial tones. The Tamar River Suites are located on all levels of the North Wing Building and can accommodate up to three adults.
Gorge River Deluxe The Gorge River Deluxe Rooms are located on levels four to seven in the Silo Building and offer sweeping panoramic views of the entrance to Cataract Gorge. These spacious rooms provide the ideal place to recharge after a busy day of conferencing, featuring superb modern styling that highlights the industrial heritage of the site. Rooms can accommodate for up to two delegates and Disabled Access Rooms are available on request.
Two Bedroom TamarThe Two Bedroom Tamar River Suite is an interconnecting apartment, combining two Tamar River Suites to offer a spacious retreat for delegates. Located on levels one to seven of the North Wing Building, these suites feature two separate lounge areas, two ‘Silo Experience’ king beds with two fold-out double sofa beds, and two beautifully warm sunrooms with river views.
Silo Premier SuiteThe Silo Premier Suite offers the epitome of sophistication on the top level of the Silo Building. Sample the region’s finest beverages on your private balcony with unparalleled views of the Tamar and North Esk Rivers and Cataract Gorge. Boasting a contemporary open plan design, the Silo Premier Suite also features a stylish lounge area, spacious bedroom with plush ‘Silo Experience’ king bed and stunning recycled timber frame, and a sumptuous ensuite with shower and deep bath tub.
