MATERIALS

LAB TESTS: ITT - FCPT

The steel plates are subjected to corrosion protection process. The painting used is C4 HIGH, in accordance with ISO 12994-5, EN 1337-9. On request, it is possible to use anti-corrosion treatments of higher order.

The elastomeric isolators must be tested in laboratory, according with the European Standard EN 15129: ITT (Initial Type Teting), FPCT (Factory Production Control Tests). They can be also produced and tested in conformity with other international standards, such as AASHTO and BS.

INSTALLATION

PRELIMINARY PHASES

The Elastomeric isolators ISI P must be installed accordingly with all the details reported on the installation drawings.

Control on the project’s description:• The position on the isolator and its correct

orientation.

Control on the identifying cards regarding the project: • Typology and model, vertical and horizontal load.

Control on the site, with regard to the project:• Correctness and consistency of the support and

presence of seats on it.•

BEARING POSITIONING

1. Approach the isolator to the support.2. Place the inferior compasses on the seats of the isolator.3. Tighten the bolts of the anchors.

5. Shim the isolator watching the horizontality and place it on the resin.
