1 PurposeThis configuration guide provides the information you need to set up the configuration of this building block manually.
If you do not want to configure manually and prefer an automated installation process using BC Sets and other tools, refer to the installation guide of this building block.
2 Preparation
2.1 PrerequisitesA good working knowledge of SAP R/3 is necessary. There is some prerequisite Building Block which needs to be installed before this one.

The purpose of this activity is to create a company. A company is an organizational unit in Accounting which represents a business organization according to the requirements of commercial law in a particular country. Consolidation functions in financial accounting are based on companies. A company can comprise one or more company codes. We have created company BP001.
