Skate Park

A skate park is a purpose-built recreational environment for skateboarders, roller skaters, inline skaters, scooter riders and BMX

riders to ride and develop their technique. A skate park may contain half - pipes, quarter pipes, spine transfers, handrails, fun

boxes, vert ramps, pyramids, banked ramps, full pipes, pools, bowls, snake runs stairsets and any number of other objects. The one of those

is in our district. The skate park is next to my flat and I’m not a fan of this place. Why? I

think there are too many poseurs and too few people who love skateboarding or roller skating. They want to „be cool” or be in the

spotlight.People should go to the skate park if they love skating and not only to

promote themselves.

Le Journal Cafe

Le Journal Café was opened almost a year ago in November 2010. It’s a small private cafe in Świderska

street. It’s the first kind of such a local in Białołęka district with a friendly atmosphere and a varied menu. The café is open every day from seven in the morning to the late afternoon. There is a small library and free

internet there. People come there to have a rest.

Henrykowski Park

It is located in the district of Białołęka, in Warsaw .It is a large park which is not crowded too much. Many people come there looking for peace and a way to relax. Park visitors often have picnics with their friends or children there, some of them want to play football or basketball on separate playing

fields. Most interesting objects in this park are two devices. One is a cobweb-like construction with a trampoline in the middle, and

the second - a rope pyramid attached to the 9-meter mast, combining a 30-metre-long rope bridge suspended at a height of

three metres above the ground. These devices are a lot of fun for children and not only for them.
