• To guarantee state of the art deliverables, we have to remain attractive to market operators
• ENs are developed and used by the private sector• The private sector:
• bears 95% of the costs of the system.• brings 99% of the up-to-date expertise.
• Speed depends on knowledge available, commercial issues, industry’s needs, etc.

Our proposal:Simplification of processes and Education
• Improved ESOs and SDOs coordination and cooperation (also at international level)
• Further Development of e-communication and e-platforms (new and improved IT tools – IT strategy)
• EC co-finance rules should be simplified• Integration of research- standards and innovation• Education about standardisation (National programs)
Joint effort for simplification = increase in speed
