Appearance Similarities Differences

The differences of their appearance is that in the hair Charlie have actually done his hair properly by how neat it is and when you compare it to J you can see that is hair is just messed up as he didn’t bother doing his hair properly. This suggest that Charlie care about his appearance more than J does. J represent being a scientist because scientist don’t do their hair properly because when they are making something, bad things might happen which might ruin their hair so they leave their hair as it is.

The similarities in their appearance is that they don’t wear make up. They don’t wear make up because we thought it wouldn’t be a great idea to use it in our film as it about drugs. While J don’t have make up on because when you make the drugs you wouldn’t normally have make up on you. We have tried to use the camera to make sure that the appearance didn’t really matter in the film because they represent the gangsters which mean that their appearance doesn’t matter to them as they don’t want to get caught by the police.

Role in the filmSimilarities Differences

The similarities of the two people of their role in the film are that they both get to deal with drugs but one make the drugs and the other one sell the drugs. We use the music for this scene to sound a good tempo so the audience will know what sort of group they come from a which they know that it is a gangster group. So we use the music to represent him. J doesn’t need any sound to represent him as you can see what sort of thing he does as you can see he makes the drugs. The reason why old people weren't part of that role in the film because they wouldn’t have been suited with all the drugs. So it is very similar the two pictures are as they are both young people who obsessed with drugs.

The differences of the role in the films are that Charlie is selling drugs to people as that is his job in the group. While J is the one making the drug to give to the group so they can sell it on. We have tried and edit Charlie when he was giving the drug because as you can see that he is holding the drug in his hand right out which suggest that the person can easily just take it. While J is sniffing the drug to make sure it is okay to sell and give to people as he doesn't want to be in trouble because if it in bad condition and someone die from it then he will be aught by other gangsters or by the police.

Costume Similarities Differences

The two people in the picture wear similar sort of clothes because J doesn’t want to get drugs down him while he is making the drugs while Charlie doesn’t want to get spotted by the police as he is selling drugs to someone. Charlie wear those clothes to represent him as a gangster but not a big gangster group though because he doesn't’ want to get recognised by the police. While J might not be part of the gangster group but he is the one making the drugs and giving it to the gangster group who are very big in the city.

The differences of the costumes are that Charlie is wearing a hoodie so he can make sure that people don’t know who he is really is. J isn’t wearing a hoodie because he is inside and doesn’t really need one as he is making the drug. We have tried to use the mise-en-scene to make sure that the costume fits which it does. The costume fit because the mise-en-scene suits the costume as it in a backyard alley which means we needed to make sure we have sort of gangsters looks like hoodies as it suit the background. The mise-en-scene represent the gangster look as they don’t want to get caught so they need the right costume for it.
