I think my three products work well as they all tie together. In the ancillary tasks I used an image from my short film for both so they had a similar theme running throughout.

There is a clear house style, I like to keep it clean and simple so I chose to work with mainly black and white but because our short film was aimed at children and families I added bits of colour here and there. On the movie poster I used red for the tagline and the little box that holds information about the movie. I did this as it ties in with the colour of the dogs tongue.

The font used for the title on my movie poster will appeal to the younger children, also having a large image of the dog as the photo will draw their attention as they will think it’s cute.

I think my film and my double page spread were the strongest out of the three. If I could I would play around a little more with my film poster to make it top standard and more professional looking. I do however like the image I chose and the way the title almost wraps itself around the bin.

From researching other children's movie posters I found out I needed to make my film poster really stand out and relate to the children. I needed to aim it at kids but also aim it at their parents as well to get the best results. I used one large main image on my movie poster and two smaller images on my double page spread so people had that visual that they need.
