Part 1 2 minutes (3 minutes for groups of 3)

The interlocutor will then ask you some questions about one or two other topics, for example:

• If you could spend some time working in another country, where would you choose to go and why?

• What kinds of films do you like? Why?• What do you think your life will be like in five years’ time?• Tell me about the most interesting journey you’ve ever made.

The interlocutor will ask you some questions about yourself, your home, work or studies and familiar topics.

Part 2 4 minutes (6 minutes for groups of 3)

In this part of the test, I’m going to give each of you three pictures. I’d like you to talk about them on your own for about a minute, and also to answer a question briefly about your partner’s pictures.

(Candidate A), it’s your turn first. Here are your pictures. They show people doing different things involving movement. I’d like you to compare two of the pictures and say why the people are doing these things and how the people might be feeling.

(Candidate B), which of these people do you think needs most skill? (Why?)

Now, (Candidate B), here are your pictures. They show people doing things in pairs. I’d like you to compare two of the pictures and say what the relationship between the people is and how it might change in the future.

In this part of the test, I’m going to give each of you three pictures. I’d like you to talk about them on your own for about a minute, and also to answer a question briefly about your partner’s pictures.

(Candidate A), it’s your turn first. Here are your pictures. They show people and horses in different situations. I’d like you to compare two of the pictures and say why the people might be using the horses in these different situations and how they might be feeling about the experience.
