The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Oxford Saturday, July 11, 2015
Millett Hall (Miami University) New Hours! 1 pm - 11 pm
It is the time of year when Oxford starts asking its residents to remember, to celebrate and to support those who have been touched by cancer. It is almost time for Oxford Relay for Life. Relay for Life will be on Saturday, July 11 in front of Millett Hall. Relay For Life is a community event where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Corporate employees, friends, church groups, and neighbors join together in teams and take turns walking or running on a track throughout this overnight event. This event is not a race, so participants may casually walk or run at whatever pace they are comfortable. Relay teams of 10-15 people are invited to ‘camp out’ on the surrounding grounds and host fundraisers (sell baked goods, hold raffles, play games, etc.) and enjoy music, dancing, and entertainment. There will be entertainment and fun for all ages! There will not be a St. Mary team this year but all are invited to come show support and help raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer. To participate or donate visit http://relayforlife.org/oxfordoh
