FirstView is especially designed for chain level corporations. Displays can be grouped for example by function (e.g. sales counters), by brand (“Hilton”), or b y r e g i o n ( H e l s i n k i ) . T h e management of the displays stays simple and effective with hierarchical user access levels. Scheduling of content and ready-made templates allow easy and quick updates. The company appearance stays consistent throughout the whole communication line, and all the displays are put to cost effective use.  

FirstView Digital Signage solution is a user friendly and reliable system that you can operate all on your own. Management is done centralized and remotely with a web-based FirstView Manager user interface. With a few clicks you’ll send your material to selected displays all over the country in real-time. Keep it simple Three steps to a complete digital

signage broadcasting solution

STEP 1: Display(s)  

Decide the amount, sizes, and places of the displays Our choices vary from 10,2-inch Mini WLAN displays to huge video walls, QR codes, and outdoor stands. Bright professional displays are suitable for 24/7 use, robust, and power efficient.

STEP 2: Media player  A small media player is installed behind the display or group of displays The Media player is the “brain” of the display that plays the material on screen. It connects to the Internet and collects the data added to screens (with the FirstView Manager) from a cloud server.

STEP 3: Content updates  Log in to the web-based FirstView Manager with your own username and password. In the FirstView Manager you see all your displays (display groups) and can add, update, and schedule different kind of material to screens. Add images, videos, Flash, RSS/XML, web sites, social media or use ready-made animation and text templates.

FirstView solution is a SaaS –service (Software as a Service). With the SaaS operation model the customer gets rights (an account) to use the web-based FirstView Manager that connects to a cloud server. The only equipment installed in the customers' premises are the displays and the small media players. SaaS operation model is an inexpensive way to create a digital signage system without large initial investments. The FirstView Manager service is implemented with todays' newest cloud computing technologies.

TECH SPECS  

The intelligence of FirstView system is integrated into a small-sized media player, HDCube and PiCube. The player is attached to a display (or group of displays) with a VGA or DVI/HDMI cable. The player gets its power from its own power source. The media player retrieves the playlist (content on displays) from the cloud server every few minutes and downloads the added material into its own memory. The load on the network is minimal and there's no need for changes in the customers’ firewall. If the network goes down the Media players continues playing the content that it has downloaded to its own memory. After the connection is back on the player checks from the server if any changes have been made to the playlists and downloads the possible new material. This way the displays won't go black as long as there's electricity. There are no services shown outside from the player and the data traffic is SSL encrypted. The system has a high security level and the load on the network is low.
