Claims defensibility review and follow up for clients who took over local authority

highways maintenance contracts, leading to increased denial rates and savings of over

£300,000 per year

TPA/claims handler review including the formulation of tender documentation,

managing the process, appointment and overseeing the seamless transition of 750

EL/PL claims from the incumbent to the new provider

EL/PL/Motor audits undertaken annually for a major construction company and

logistics company to benchmark claims performance, reduce claims leakage and

improve claims defensibility

Disease claims support to a client with significant uninsured exposures – including

technical input on high value mesothelioma/asbestos losses, attritional Noise Induced

Hearing loss (NIHL) claims and the impact of Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of

Employment) Regulations (TUPE).

Large/complex loss support to a self-insured client whose subcontractor was ren-

dered paraplegic in a fall from height. Included attendance at conferences with Coun-

sel and a Joint Settlement Meeting (JSM) where the case settled with a £1m contribu-

tion.
