FOR ALL ADVERTISING:
1. The FPA NCA Classified Connection is a member benefit professional development newsletter
to include job postings, mentoring and internship programs, job seeker resumes of CFP®
certificant professionals and candidates attending local college/university programs, invitation to
CFP® certificant exam study groups, and scholarships and award announcements. The FPA
NCA does not recommend and/or endorse any particular advertisement
2. No graphics, logos, or pictures associated with any advertisements will be included in this
advertising publication.
3. FPA NCA has the right to refuse or modify any ads submitted prior to publication.
4. Ads must be submitted in Microsoft WORD format.
5. Ads must be submitted by the 20th
of each month for inclusion in the next month’s publication.
6. This advertising newsletter will be posted to our local chapter web site (www.fpanca.org) and
announced via email to our members.
7. Changes to a published ad or removal of the ad will occur once a month prior to the new
publication being posted and announced. Notices of changes and/or removals must be submitted
by the 20th
of each month.
8. Ads will be published for three consecutive months. Requests for ads to be reinstated after the
initial three months must be sent by the 20th
of the month for inclusion in the next month’s

TAXATION INTERVIEW PROGRAM
Georgetown University Law Center (Georgetown Law) is again partnering with New York University School of
Law (NYU Law) to sponsor this year’s Taxation Interview Program (TIP). TIP enables private and public sector
employers to interview, on one day (March 1, 2013) and in one place (Embassy Suites Hotel, Washington, D.C.),
current LL.M. in Taxation students from Georgetown Law and NYU Law. Georgetown Law students pursuing a
Certificate in Estate Planning, together with an LL.M. in Taxation or separately, are eligible to participate in TIP.
Since 2001, TIP has been the nation’s flagship program for the recruitment of graduate tax students. In past years,
top law firms, government agencies, corporations, and major accounting firms from across the country have
participated in the program. Employers can pre-screen candidates for interviews, and they can also participate in
TIP through a resume collection option.

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will have ownership of key recurring deliverables and ad-
hoc requests from customers. It carries responsibility to proactively lead analysis and provide insights
to key stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES
Recommends solutions for business/process/technical/analytical issues that arise in everyday work;
challenges current methods to improve accuracy/efficiency.
Support production of Stress Testing capital ratios for the parent and E*TRADE Bank – inclusive but
not limited to the creation of consolidated pro-forma balance sheet including activity (purchases,
dispositions, pay-downs, etc.), size, composition, and net free funds against most recent stressed
forward curve, and conversion of business drivers into a consolidated pro-forma income statement.
Support the development of systems (Polypaths and Hyperion) and processes inclusive of
comprehensive reporting for generation of treasury portfolio baseline forecasts and generation of
alternative sensitivities.
Further develop and maintain Distributed Planning Hyperion application for purposes of stress
testing for the enterprise. Maintain and manage dimension structure - chart of accounts used in
forecast process, asset / liability classifications and rollups, other dimensions defining how data needs to
be reported, viewed, or analyzed.
Support Asset Liability Committee standardized stress test reporting and ad hoc analysis as requested
by senior management. REQUIREMENTS
6+ years of financial planning and analysis and/or accounting experience
Understanding of finance, financial analysis, financial analysis terms; advanced understanding of
business and associated lexicon
Solid technical and analytical skills in finance, general accounting, budgeting, financial analysis. An
understanding of the basic business disciplines in order to develop, analyze and interpret financial data
Previous experience with Oracle/Hyperion financial applications. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills to work effectively with various functional groups
Previous experience with VBA/SQL/relational databases strongly preferred
Bank Treasury Finance experience strongly preferred

Primary job duties will include:
Preparing financial plans – Data gathering, evaluation, organization, and input. Process handling of

Strong financial planning software background (SunGard, eMoney, NaviPlan etc.)
Ability to understand financial planning concepts, recognize/read personal and corporate financial

Superior technical skills, comfort level with financial planning software as well as investment analytical
tools like Morningstar Workstation.
Strong analytical skills with background in computer systems, mathematics or finance preferred.

BEGINNER (PRACTICE MANGEMENT): This practice management concentration group is designed to cover best practice and operational topics. The mission of this study group is to
help advisors and staff members to be effective, efficient and grow through systems and processes. Members should have one to five-years of financial advisory services. The group

INTERMEDIATE (INVESTMENT PLANNING): This Intermediate Group is ideal for RIA and CFP® certificants. This group will focus on current and proposed rules, investment strategies,
