Ralph Calcote May 9, 2019 For the latest informaon For the latest informaon visit our website visit our website www.cbrookhaven.org Dear Church Family, As I reflect on our Baby Dedication last Sunday, I am so grateful for the young families and their children that the Lord is placing in His church at FBC Brookhaven. With this blessing comes a great responsibility on our part. We must work together to continue to provide a place for these children to learn and grow in the Faith. We must come alongside their parents, who are their primary spiritual leaders, to assist them in providing a faith environment in their homes and here at church. One practical need is the renovation of our Adult Education building that shares space with our children’s mission programs. As a church that has existed for 147 years, renovation is an ongoing need. I was so encouraged by the sacrificial giving to the Building Fund on our Great Day of Praise and Giving. Our updated total will be announced this morning by Jeff Richardson, Executive Building Committee chairman. We have paid off the debt of the first two phases of renovation. We are now preparing for our 3 rd Phase of renovation. It is amazing how God has provided through you. Much work as been completed but there is more work to do. We can accomplish it together for the Glory of God. This morning I will continue our series – Takin’ It To The Streets. We need focus. It is easy to miss the main things of our faith as we rush around doing other things. The Great Commission is possible for each of us to do because God equips us to accomplish His work.
