DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS FOR THE NINTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LEARNING DISABILITIES: 1. All proposed presentations must include this form. 2. Attach (a) an abstract that describes the presentation in less than 50 words (if the proposal is accepted, this abstract will appear

in the program); and (b) a more detailed description of the proposed presentation (ie., 250-300 words) that will allow the Program Committee to determine whether or not to accept the proposed presentation.

3. If the proposal is being sponsored by a CLD State / Province Chapter, attach a statement to that effect. The statement should be signed by the Chapter President. IMPORTANT: Proposals submitted by CLD State / Province Chapters are given preference over most other proposals. Chapters may support no more than three proposals.

4. Deadline for submission is February 15, 1987. Acceptance and rejection notices will be mailed in late April. 5. Please include two self-addressed, stamped envelopes with your proposal. 6. Mail proposals to:
