Some Laws that govern change
Necessity is the mother ofinvention.
Survival of the fittest.
It is not the strongest ofthe species that survives, nor the most intelligentthat survives. It is the onethat is the most adaptableto change.
Every 100 Years the poormost people have thefacilities and technologywhich the richest have100 years back. 3

Terrace Farming
Imagine the world with almost 80% ofthe planets population living in urbancenters and our fruit, vegetables andeven animals are grown in skyscrapers?
As the world population is increasingday by day the cities are far from the
agricultural land and thus making fruitsand vegetables short in supply andcostly.
In the long run such skyscrapers maynot only provide food for hundreds ofthousands of people per building butthey will also relieve much of theburden on other flat landscapes wherefewer and fewer usable growingspaces exist.
The design includes water and energyself-sufficiency from rainwater andgray water collection and reuse, solarcells, vegetable and grain growingspaces and even a chicken farm - allbuilt on a small-footprint downtownurban lot 19

Rising Sea Levels
The energy consumption of theworld is increasing day by dayresulting in accumulation ofgreen house gases.
The green house gases
capture more ultra violet raysfrom sun which cause rise inearths average temperature.
The average globaltemperature has increased by1C in last 50 years.
Due to this increase in
temperature cracks are seenon Atlantic ice.
The ice is melting continuouslyand thus sea level isincreasing day by day.

Urbanization will hit 60% by2020
As more of the worldspopulation lives in cities, rapiddevelopment to accommodate
them will make existingenvironmental andsocioeconomic problemsworse. Epidemics will be morecommon due to crowdeddwelling units and poorsanitation.
Electrification has expandedaround the world, from 40%connected in 1970 to 73% in2000, and may reach 83% ofthe worlds people by 2020

In past diseases were likeepidemics which used to claimlife of millions of people.
But after the advancement inthe medical field we are now
able to control most of thediseases and find theresolutions.
The concern by 2020 thatviruses would appear in morestrong way having adaptiblityto our medicines and thus we
need to search new solutionsto counter them.
We can expect heart diseasesto end by this time.

Drastic Climate change
Due to global warming theclimatic conditions of the worldwill change drastically.
The fresh water of the Atlanticice will mix with the sea water
thus changing the flow of seawater circulation.
This change in circulation willchange the climatic conditionswhere we will observe accessof every season.
The change will also be in
terms of regular seasons of aparticular regions viz. heavyrainfall in desert, snowfallduring summer months orsummer during winter days.

Not only does it change the shapeof the headlights with one touch,
but it comes apart, and changecolor on command. This isnt ahologram, but something that youcan touch, or even pick up.

By the time 2050 every building, road or any other object that yousee right now or imagine to existin future will be empowered withmicrocomputers-smart Dust
They are referred as Smart dust
as their size will be small, verysmall as the size of dust particlesthat fly from one place to otherwith the wind.
These tiny microcomputers willform smart network and will helpus to manage and maintain anytask of our day to day like and
would also manage infrastructuresof large cities.

Tele existence
Virtual Reality provides a basis for thetechnology which enables humans toexperience events and acts in a virtualenvironment just as if they were in thereal world
The concept of tele-existence wasproposed by Susumu Tachi in 1980, nowprofessor at the elite University of Tokyo.
This technology enables a person tohave a real-time sensation of being at aplace other than the place where he orshe actually exists.
The proposed system consisted of a tele-existence master-slave system withvisual and auditory sensation of presencefor robotic applications.
The master system measures the headand arm movements of the operatorthrough mechanical links, and acomputer controls the movement of theslave anthropomorphic robot with astereo camera and a locomotionmechanism for movements.
