During Plan Development, the MFPP CSU Team provided support to the Norton Bay InterTribal Watershed Council, Native Village of Elim, staff and consultants to: Initially engage critical stakeholders; Research, assess, and analyze vulnerabilities, risks, strategies and
actions; and Develop a climate adaptation plan, “Climate Adaptation and Action
Plan for the Norton Bay Watershed, Alaska,” outlining adaptation strategies and actions http://www.trunity.net/laochconsulting/
As part of Implementation, the MFPP CSU Team has: Provided support to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) of
Native Village of Golovin with climate risk assessment; Co-developed a virtual training program, “Norton Sound Climate
Change Adaptation Training (NSCCAT),” viewable at: http://www.waterpolicyconsulting.com/?q=node/151; and finally
In 2017, the Team will work with a handful of Native Villages to develop local climate change adaptation plans (LCCAPs).
