Global Outreach International P.O. Box 1,

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 niv)

When the Bible is left behind… As part of the homeless outreach team, we recently hiked the woods looking for a homeless encampment. The abandoned site we found saddened us in many ways. In addition to a shocking amount of trash, a Bible was left behind on the bare ground. What if they’d opened the Scripture? Read truth? Allowed it to change their hearts and lives?

Friends, the Word of God has the power to open our eyes and transform our hearts. Let’s be sure we allow God to use our own Bible study time to draw us closer to Him and make us more like Jesus.

Ways you can pray: 1.Your partnership in continuing ministry is invaluable. Thanks in advance for prayerfully considering how God would have you partner with us. 2. Upcoming mission trips to Nottingham 6/21-28 and Roatan, Honduras 7/13-21. It’s a lot of travel in a short time. 3. Whisper Gathering 2019 registration opens soon.

Thank you to all who prayed for me after a minor wound on my finger became infected and required surgical intervention. Great doctors and nurses worked super-fast to correct the situation and restore function to my hand. Home Office staff surprised me with a door full of love and encouragement when I returned. I’m so grateful for the great team God’s assembled at GO Home office!
