    They cannot shell His Temple

    Nor dynamite His Throne;

    They cannot bomb His City,

    Nor rob Him of His own.

    They cannot take Him captive,

    Nor strike Him dead and blind,

    Nor starve Him to surrender,

    Nor make Him change His mind.

    They cannot cause Him panic,

    Nor cut off His supplies;

    They cannot take His kingdom,

    Nor hurt Him with their lies.

    6n coming to !od we need not wonder whether we willfind Him in a receptive mood. He is always receptive tomisery and need, as well as love and faith. He does notkeep office hours, nor does He set aside periods when He

    anything. Today, this moment, He feels toward each of us,toward babies, the sick, the fallen, and the sinful e0actly asHe did when He sent His only begotten 3on into the worldto die for all mankind.

    6f this sounds impressive, remember that the sun is onlyone of some &22 billion stars in our >ilky ay gala0y. 3omeof these stars are &2,222 times brighter than our sun. Tograsp the power of !od, multiply the sun=s energy by &22billion and then multiply that by several trillion gala0ies, and

    And yet there are some who say that all the comple0 andessential conditions for life on our earth as we know it couldhave occurred in the proper seuence 7ust by 8chance.:

    eslie eatherhead said, 86t demands more of credulity toimagine that the universe was all a huge accident than tobelieve in the operation of a mind. How very strange that a
