Best accessibility Clamping without an endstop and the compact structure of the Makro•Grip® centering vise offers the best accessibility for 5-Axis machining.

Exceptional holding power Our form-closure technology opens endless possibilities in milling, this coupled with the very low actuation and compact clamping devices.

Reduced vibrations The low vibration machining makes it possible to have workpiece surfaces with supreme quality and adds to the longevity of the tools used.

Tremendous material savings Minimal clamping depth of only 3mm on the workpieces allows for tremendous material savings.

High repeatability The special form-closure allows for repeatability (0.01mm) of workpieces without endstop.

Considerable savings in set-up time Due to stamping directly on the saw cut or scale surface, preparatory steps on the workpieces are reduced to a minimum, even on high strength materials such as Titanium

Minimal wear Form-closure jaws combined with the stamping of the workpieces, together with the low actuation force reduces the wear on the vise to a minimum. The preserving of the jaws guaranties clamping consistency.

No deformation Minimal actuation force prevents deformation of the workpiece during machining.

What makes LANG clamping systemsthe very best in 5-Axis machining?

Clamping problems of other manufacturers:

• A safe clamping of high-tensile materials can only be realized with high clamping pressure• Large and poorly accessible applications are needed• High wearing of jaw teeth and vise guidance ways• Clamping with high repeatability is not possible

Clamping of workpiecewithout stamping technology

Advantages of the Grip•Fix technology:

• Pre-stamping of the workpiece with up to 20 tons of pressure allows you to clamp high-tensile materials even with a smaller and compact vise• Excellent accessibility allows you to use short tools which results in fewer vibrations and longer life• Minimum wear of the vise

Clamping of workpiece with form-closure stamping

technology

THE ORIGINAL – Often copied, but never the same!Highest holding power world-wide due to„form-closure technology“!

Conventional clamping by friction:

Large and bulky vises are necessary even with the smallest workpieces to achieve extreme clamping power.

Clamping with form-closure technology:

Even with a 3mm clamping depth and minimal clamp-ing force a secure grip on large workpieces is no problem with the compact Makro•Grip® centering vise.

Mobile stamping unit

The mobile stamping unit is perfectly fitted for stamping overlong workpieces and clamping them in 2 centring vices subsequently. With the new version of "dual-stamping unit" it is even more convenient transferring the corresponding set-up onto the machine table.

It is also possible to adjust the distance between the two stamping vices individually or via the 25 mm pitch of the marking bores.

In addition the marking bores in the steel base plate of the stamping unit are set according to the pitch of the Quick•Point® grid plates and the Makro•Grip® multiple clamping vices.

An easy and quick way to control the gripping teeth contour and decide if reconditioning is necessary.

Clamp slightly one gauging block with slots on each side of the stamping jaws.

When 3rd gauging block fits between the stamping jaws, send jaws to us for reconditioning.

Creating trust:Always the sameclamping quality!

To ensure consistent holding power in your clamping device, please check the wear of the gripping teeth on a regular basis.
