1949 during its early years Raccortubi supplies malleable iron fittings for hydraulic applications, manufactured by Georg Fischer SA, Switzerland.1960 the company has its offices in Via Giorgione, Milan, with a workforce of 15 people and a turnover of 2 billion lira. Raccortubi is the first Italian stockist of carbon steel fittings for the petrochemical industry. 1965 the company moves from Via Giorgione to Via Valassina with an increased workforce of 20 people and a turnover of 3.5 billion lira. It becomes the official distributor of carbon steel elbows manufactured by Dalmine in its plant located in Sabbio Bergamasco.1977 a new warehouse opens in Cormano, Milan. Raccortubi becomes the first Italian stockist of both stainless steel fittings (imported from Benkan, Japan) and pipes (manufactured in Europe by Valinox and Dalmine) used in petrochemical plants. Workforce: 23 people. Turnover: 5 billion lira.1983 the company moves from Milan to Arluno. It focuses on the distribution of stainless steel pipes and fittings, and carbon steel fittings, ceasing to stock cast iron fittings. Workforce: 29 people. Turnover: 7 billion lira.1988 Raccortubi opens a new company, Tecninox, whose plant is in Sarmato, Piacenza, with a total area of 4,500 m². The plant specialises in the production of butt weld fittings in stainless steel, duplex and special alloys. Workforce: 33 people. Raccortubi turnover: 15 billion lira.1991 a key year in Raccortubi’s history: the company becomes the first Italian stockholder to obtain ISO 9002 certification, awarded by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. Workforce: 55 people. Raccortubi and Tecninox turnover: 25 billion lira.1995 Tecninox acquires new machinery for the production of cold formed elbows. Workforce: 64 people. Raccortubi and Tecninox turnover: 46 billion lira.

1997 a new warehouse opens in Ossona, Milan, with a total area of 3,720 m². Stock is enhanced with the addition of fittings and pipes in duplex. Total workforce now exceeds 70 people. Turnover reaches 50 billion lira.1998 the ISO 9002 certification is extended to cover the activities of the entire Group. Tecninox gains several approvals from certifying bodies and end users, while doubling its manufacturing area to house new machinery, allowing for increased production.1999 Raccortubi celebrates 50 years of business.2000 the Group’s total paid-up capital now stands at €4,200,000.2002 Raccortubi constructs over 400 m² of new offices. Mr Luca Pentericci becomes Managing Director and Mr PierGiorgio Pentericci, President of Raccortubi.2006 the total paid-up capital reaches €8,500,000.2008 Raccortubi moves to a new purpose-built area in excess of 25,000 m², with a 10,000 m² warehouse; stocking capacity for fittings is doubled and for pipes, quadrupled. The new site is in Marcallo con Casone, just a few kilometres from Arluno.2009 Raccortubi celebrates 60 years of business.2010 stainless steel flanges are added to Raccortubi’s stock range.2011 the existing stock of pipes and fittings in superduplex UNS S32760 is complemented by the arrival of UNS S32750.2012 Tecninox is the first and only seamless butt weld fittings producer in the world to be granted NORSOK M-650 Ed. 4 certification.2013Raccortubi Group establishes three new subsidiaries: Raccortubi do Brasil Ltda., Raccortubi Middle East FZE and Raccortubi Singapore Pte. Ltd.2014with the year’s end Raccortubi completes the acquisition of Petrol Raccord, butt weld fittings manufacturer in Calendasco, Piacenza, to extend the Group’s production range.
