The Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India has initiated the process ofReqistration of Indian Students who are studying abroad, in order to compile data about the Indian students in various countries so that the Government is able to advise them in the hours of need. The students Registration Module has been placed within Ministry's MADAD portal (the Consular Services Management System). (Copy of letter dated 27-07-2016 with its enclosure received from Ministry of External Affairs, GOI in this regard is enclosed herewith for ready reference). Data entered into this module in a voluntary manner by the Indian Students abroad will provide useful inputs about the pattern of migration of Indian students globally, educational courses that they are registering in and re'ated matters. In Pursuance to above, Managements of all the Private Unaided Recognized Schools are hereby directed to place this circular on their Notice Board for information of all concerned This issues with the prior approval of Competent Authority. 3· We request the; State Governments to widely publicise the Students'Registration module through a press release, social media platforms and urge thestudents to register themselves in this module. In the subsequent weeks themodule will be expanded to include country specific advisories for Indianstudents; links to Facebook pages of Indian Associations and Indian StudentsAssociations; links carrying information on accredited educational institutions in~riOus countries etc.
