This magazine is published for the sake
of truth in honor of our Heavenly Father and His only begotten Son. It upholds the
originally inspired Scriptures, teaching to declare all the counsel of The Almighty
One. It proclaims the Father’s scholarly recognized name, YAHWEH, and the
Son’s, YAHSHUA, rather than substitutions. It upholds the Ten
Commandments, recognizing the name, Yahweh, in the third, and the seventh day
Sabbath (not the first day of the week) in the fourth. It stands for baptism
(immersion) in the name, Yahshua, the Messiah, according to Acts 2:38 and
Matthew 28:19; the ordinance of feet washing and the commemoration of the
Messiah’s death, at the Passover season; the set times of Unleavened Bread, Weeks
(Pentecost), Tabernacles, with all the yearly set apart convocation days of
Leviticus 23. It advocates tithing and the
observance of Yahweh’s laws for our well being including clean foods. It teaches
repentance of sin (disobeying Yahweh), and justification by faith in Yahshua, the
Messiah, in whom we have redemption through His blood; making right the
whole man, physically and spiritually; stressing the importance of the set apart
righteous life, and the Power of Yahweh’s Spirit of separation teaching the obedient
to do His will. It is supported by “called out ones of Yahweh,” which is the
meaning of “Assembly of Yahweh.” It is for those hearing and heeding the call of
Revelation 18:4, and is proclaiming to the world that Yahweh reigns, Psalm 96.

Praise Yahweh! HalleluYah! Yahweh is so good. Yahweh’s great plan of
redemption is moving forward at His timetable. The Master Plan of redemption has been
accomplished through Yahweh’s only begotten Son Yahshua the Messiah. Let’s look at this plan for redeeming mankind. Yahweh and Yahshua in a form of
partnership is revealed in Genesis 1:26, “And Elohim said, Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness…” Halleluyah, we were made in the image of Yahweh and
Yahshua (not in the image of a monkey or ape – Darwin’s theory).
Where does Yahshua come into the picture? Apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 1:14-
15, about Yahshua, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the
forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn of all
creation.” Here is the explanation of Genesis 1:26; Yahshua was there, He was
Yahweh’s firstborn, His first creation. This was thousands of years before Yahshua came
to this earth as a human to become our offering for sin.
Also, in Colossians 1:17-18, “And he is before all things, and by him all things
consist. And he is the head of the body, the assembly: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”
Yahshua’s office is awesome, what a load he carries for you, me and the whole
world. We also have the promise, that he is our High Priest, Mediator (Hebrews 12:23-
24) and soon coming King (Matthew 16:28). When Yahshua returns he will put down all
rule and all authority and power (1 Corinthians 15:24).
The key to Salvation is our belief in our Savior and the Scriptures that foretold of his
life, his death and his resurrection (Isaiah 53, 1 Peter 1:18-25). Yahshua, as Yahweh’s
Salvation for us, has much work to accomplish. Yahshua will return with his angels and
gather up the elect from the four corners of this world, from one end of heaven to the
other (Matthew 24:31).
We must not forget our heavenly Father Yahweh’s role in salvation. Yahweh, the Almighty One, self-existent, eternal; this is His plan for His creation, His called out ones.
Called out of what? They are called by the Holy (Kodesh) Spirit to leave the influence of
the confusion of Babylon as mentioned in Revelation 18:2-4, and to call upon the Name
of Yahweh. As we research Yahweh’s great name and reverence it, we find He set up
commands for His people Israel. Romans 9:4 tells us who Israel is today, “Who are
Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the honor, and the covenants, and the
giving of the law, and service of Elohim, and the promises.”
Yahweh is in heaven, watching His whole creation. He will send Yahshua to this
earth with the Book of Life at His timetable. Yes, there is more to come before
Yahshua’s great entrance. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work (2
Thessalonians 2:7). Will we see the man of sin manifest himself fully? Will the beast system government come into its power, will the image of the beast rise to its full
potential? Will the false messiah show his preeminence? Will the seven last plagues,
seven vials and seven trumpets all be completed in our lifetime? Some look at these
occurrences as having already been fulfilled; or may have begun back in Yahshua’s day,
but will not reach their full development or power until the end of this age.

WHERE ARE WE? Yahshua said, “Watch…for you know not what hour your Master does come.” and,
“Therefore be you also ready, for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man
comes.” (Matthew 24:42, 44).
Note some of the events previous to Yahshua’s return in Matthew 24:5-14: wars,
rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes in different places, deceiving false
prophets. Are these occurring now? And do we have the perilous times of the latter days
(2 Timothy 3) including disobedience to parents, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of
Yahweh, having a form of reverence but denying the power thereof, learning but never
able to come to the knowledge of the truth?
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Master Yahshua the Messiah, and by our gathering together under Him, that you be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of the
Messiah is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition, who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called mighty, or that is
worshipped, so that he as the Mighty One sits in the temple of the Almighty, showing
himself that he is the Almighty. And then shall that wicked [one] be revealed, whom the
Master shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall render entirely idle with the
manifestation of His coming, the wicked one whose coming is after the working of the
adversary with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish because they received not the love of the truth that
they might be saved. And for this cause Yahweh shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie, that they all might be damned who believed not the truth but
had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 and 8-12).
This wicked one sitting in the temple showing himself that he is the Almighty, will
be rendered entirely idle by the manifestation of Yahshua’s coming (verse 8). Thus he
will be there a period of time previous to Yahshua’s return.
Going to Daniel 12 we read more about this time and the prophecy about Matthew
24:15 when the wicked one, or his doing, apparently called the abomination of
desolation, stands in the separated apart place.
Daniel did not understand all that was shown him; but he was told the words are
sealed till the time of the end (verses 4, 8 and 9). None of the wicked shall understand;
but the wise shall understand (verse 10). This tells us what kind of people we had better be. See also Hosea 4:6 and 1 John 3:4, sin is the transgression of the law; and 5:17, all
unrighteousness is sin. People will perish because they received not the love of the truth,
thus actually being deluded, believing a lie (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11). And don’t forget
to join to Yahweh; loving His Name is important, and keeping the Sabbath from polluting
it (Isaiah 56, especially verse 6). His Name is YAHWEH, and the Sabbath is the day
called Saturday, the day before the first day of the week, the seventh day of the week
(Matthew 28:1). This is a big part of the power being denied today as we read in 2
Timothy 3:5.
Note that at the time of the end many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be
increased (Daniel 12:4). Never before previous to the recent inventions of the
automobile, railway trains, and airplanes, have many gone to and fro as they do today!
Neither has knowledge been increased as enormously as it is now! A recent story about the genius, Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955) stated that his ideas launched a dazzling

technological revolution that has generated more change in a century than occurred in the
previous two millennia! And think of the electric light, phonograph, motion picture,
telephone, and radio coming on the scene in just the last few years.
Daniel 12:11 mentions the time that the daily sacrifice (or continual offering) shall
be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up. For this to be done in the
end time, we would need a place where the continual offering was made. It is expected by many that the Jews at Jerusalem will again set up a temple when the time comes that
they can, probably somewhere on the old temple mount. This is the next significant
event that I believe we should watch for. Then next watch for the wicked one to stop the
daily offering, to sit in the temple showing himself to be the Almighty, and setting up the
abomination that makes desolate. Of course he won’t call himself a wicked one, or man
of sin; but he will be that if he is a Sabbath breaker (fourth of the 10 commandments)
putting Sunday (first day of the week) in place of the seventh day Scriptural Sabbath.
Nor will he say he is setting up the abomination of desolation; but he will do it.
Daniel 12:11-13 tells how many days from that time pass before Yahshua returns.
The total is around three and one-half years. Saints are persecuted during this time, and
the etching is received by all so as to be able to buy and sell (Revelation 13:16). That is,
they must receive the etching or the name of the beast, so called, or the number of his name (referring to verse 17 also). DO NOT TAKE THE MARK. Leviticus 19:28 in the
Leeser translation reads any etched-in writing shall you not fix on yourselves. So, get the
victory over this (Revelation 15:2). Woe to them who don’t (Revelation 14:9-11). With
the world in general going along with it, we see that this system will be universal.
Are recent events leading to a universal system—probably politically and
religiously? We have a hint of a political union in the European Common Market with
the Euro currency. As to religious unity, consider the following from recent newspapers
starting April 21, 2005: The new pontiff pledged to promote the fundamental cause of
ecumenism, and extended greetings to non-Christian faiths, assuring THE WORLD he’ll
reach out to other faiths, and stating we will lay down a foundation for a better future. He
addressed himself to Catholics, other Christians, the Jewish people, and greeted Muslims, signaling his intention to address THE WHOLE WORLD, and said his thoughts go out to
ALL MEN and women of today, to believers and non-believers alike. His formal
installation was attended by many, including world leaders German Chancellor Gerhard
Schroeder, Prince Albert II of Monaco, and 21 U.S. congressmen led by Florida governor
Jeb Bush who, speaking for the President, said the American leader’s three personal
encounters with the late John Paul and his presence at the funeral were a recognition by
the White House of the importance of the need for a moral voice in WORLD AFFAIRS.
He indicated his brother looks forward to developing the same kind of relationship with
the new pontiff, and he thinks advancing the cause of social justice, freedom and
democracy around the world.
Notice that Daniel (12:13) was to go his way till the end, and rest (which he is doing
now), and stand (be resurrected) at the end of the days, amounting to about three and one-half years. That is the time that Yahshua comes and the righteous are resurrected.
This last three and one-half years of time is also referred to as a time, times, and a
half (12:7), and a time, times, and the dividing of time (7:25) where it is mentioned the
saints will be worn out (some beheaded, Revelation 20:4). Notice in Revelation 12:6 it is
1260 days the woman is fed at a place prepared of Yahweh. In verse 14 the time is called
a time, and times, and half a time.
As to wearing out of the saints, it is called making war with them (Revelation 13:7)
and to continue 42 months (3 ½ years) verse 5. The same reference is at Revelation 11:2

and verse 3, the two witnesses of truth will prophesy at the same time, 1260 days. Read
all of chapter 11. The system will not like what the two witnesses do; but Yahweh gives
them power till their testimony is finished. Then they are killed. They lie three and one-
half days. Then the Spirit of life from Yahweh enters them and they stand up, ascend to
heaven in the sight of their enemies, and (verse 15) Yahshua comes. This good news of
the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.—“Yahshua” at Matthew 24:14.

BURNING FIRES TO HONOR THE KINGS 2 Chronicles 16:14
“And Asa slept with his fathers, dying in the forty-first year of his reign. They
buried him in the tomb which he had hewn out for himself in the city of David…and they
made a very great fire in his honor.” (2 Chronicles 16:14).
“They will burn fire for you [Zedekiah] in your memory, and lament, Alas
Master”… (Jeremiah 34:5). Have you ever wondered what is meant by “burning fire” for the king? Please
continue. “…and he [Jehoram] died in great agony. His people made no fire for him
like the fires made for his fathers… and he departed with no one’s regret. They buried
him in the city of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.” (2 Chronicles 21:18-20).
“Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his good deeds, behold, they are written in
the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amos, in the book of the kings of Judah and
Israel. And Hezekiah slept with his fathers. And they buried him in the ascent of the
tombs of the sons of David; and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him
honor at his death.” (2 Chronicles 32:32-33).
Mr. Gabriel Barkay has found what seems to be man-made mounds (tumuli), 19 in
number, near Jerusalem where fires were burned honoring the kings of Judah. We see above, King Jehoram was so disliked, the people of Judah declined to honor him in this
way.
These rounded mounds of rocks and dirt, though somewhat eroded, are still visible in

YAHSHUA or YESHUA is Pronunciation Important?
All Hebrew names have meanings. If we look at Matt. 1:21 we can see the meaning
of the Messiah’s name. “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name
Yahshua; for he shall save his people from their sins.” The Word of Yahweh. The
name of the Messiah means “Yahsavior” or “Yah is salvation” and its meaning is
derived from the Hebrew word for salvation.
One thing the movie The Passion succeeded in doing is to introduce the majority of
Christians to the Hebrew pronunciation of the savior’s name. The question to consider:
is the pronunciation presented in the movie, and used by the majority of Messianic
believers correct, or is there a more accurate pronunciation.
For those who did not view the movie, or are unfamiliar with Messianic Judaism, the
pronunciation most used is Yeshua or Y’shua. The Ye & Y’ is sounded as in yesterday.
The pronunciation used by the author and by the publishers of The Faith Magazine is
Yahshua, the contracted form of Yahushua. The Yah is sounded as is Yahweh. This
article will try to explain why there are different pronunciations, and if one is closer to
the original than the other.
Please look in a King James Bible at Acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8 now look at these
same scriptures in any other translation. (I choose not to write out the scripture because I
really believe it is important in this case to check it out for yourself). Hopefully you have
done so. You will see in the KJV that the name Jesus is used in Acts 7:45 and Hebrews
4:8. In all other translations the name has been correctly written as Joshua. The person
spoken of in these 2 instances is NOT the savior, the son of Yahweh. The person spoken of is Joshua, the one who took leadership of Israel after Moses. The KJV translators
mistakenly inserted Jesus. This tells us that the Savior’s name is the same as Joshua who
led the Israelites into the Promised Land. We also know the “J” did not exist until the
16th century so his name was spelled with a Y.
In Strong’s Concordance, when referring to Joshua #3091, the pronunciation is
Yehowshuwa. Now look at the definition: Jehovah saves. We know the term Jehovah
was an attempted translation of Yahweh. The Jeh would be Yah. So now let’s change
the short “e” in Jeh to the more correct pronunciation of Yah. The successor to Moses
was Yahushua. The Hebrew letters for this are ewswhy. The correct meaning of the
savior’s name is Yahweh saves or Yahweh is salvation.
After the Babylonian captivity, the shortened, contracted spelling was used when
referring to Joshua. For example: Neh 8:17 “for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun
unto that day had not the children of Israel done so.” (KJV) See Strong’s #3442. This is
written as ewsy. Reading it in the present Modern Hebrew, it would be Y’shua. With
this in mind, most would conclude that this pronunciation for the Messiah is Yeshua.
Modern translations such at the NIV and the NKJ have the pronunciation Joshua. You
would also agree this is the same person mentioned in the earlier books of the Scriptures
(Exodus and Joshua). The long form pronunciation is Yahushua. The question now is
this: what is the correct pronunciation of the shortened form?
Most will admit our Modern English is far removed from the 1611 King James
English. If you could obtain a copy of this version in a library you would see that it is
quite difficult to pronounce many of the words. The J sound was not even used. Also
consider Shakespeare; how difficult it is to pronounce some of those words. This is only

400 years ago. Consider how much the language would change in 2000 years. After
leaving Babylon Aramaic was the language used by the Jewish people.
The scriptures were translated from the Masoretic texts, which were done several
hundred years after the death and resurrection of the Messiah. Since there were no
vowels in the original, the Masoretes took it upon themselves to decide how words and
letters were to be pronounced. One example would be the Hebrew w wav, some
pronounce this as vav and write words using it with a v instead of a w.
In Marks and Rogers “Handbook to Biblical Hebrew”, pg. 7, we can read the
following quote. “Originally Hebrew had no written vowel; the following consonants,
however were often used to indicate long vowels. e, h, w, y. a, w, h, y.” When the
Masoretes introduced their vowel signs, they added their signs to these consonants.
Consider that 3 of the letters mentioned are used in the Tetragrammaton of Yahweh’s
name.
It was these same Masorete scribes who took liberty with Yahweh’s Name in many
texts, replacing it with the titles Adonai and Elohim in many places. These places have
been footnoted in the Word of Yahweh Bible, published by the Assembly of Yahweh,
Eaton Rapids, MI.
It is taught in Rabbinical Judaism that the name of Yahweh should not be
pronounced. They substitute Adonai and HaShem for the true name.
There are other Hebrew proper names that use the form Yah in the beginning of the
name. Jehonathan or Jonathan (shortened form) which means Yahweh gives, Strong’s
#3083. Jehosaphat, or Joshaphat, meaning, Yahweh has judged, Strong’s #3092. There
are many other examples. In Strong’s the Yod Hey is pronounced Yeh instead of Yah.
Remember that Strong’s gives the incorrect pronunciation as Jehovah, not Yahweh.
Let us consider the words of the Messiah; John 5:43 “I am come in my Father’s
Name and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will
receive.” Besides being our savior, it has always been the Messiah’s purpose to point us
back to his Father. His Name does that.
The remnant believers alive at the Messiah’s return are commended in Revelation for
not denying His Name.
In summary:
The Messiah has the same name as the one we know as Joshua. The full form in
Hebrew would be pronounced as Yahushua. Meaning Yahweh saves.
After the Babylonian captivity this person is referred to in a shortened form.
Aramaic was the spoken language after Babylon
Language changes after time.
The Masoretic Scribes are responsible for vowel pointing the Modern Hebrew.
Modern Hebrew is quite different than Ancient Hebrew.
The Masoretic Scribes are also responsible for removing the Father Yahweh’s Name
in many places in the scripture.
Judaism removes the Father’s name completely.
There are many proper names that use the form Yah in the beginning of their name.
The Messiah came in his Father’s name. His name points us to Yahweh.

Let us take a close look at the message sent to the Assembly in Philadelphia.
Remember this is the Messiah speaking.
Rev. 3:7-13, And to the angel of the Assembly in Philadelphia write: These things
saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that
openeth, and no man shutteth, and shutteth, and no man openeth: I know thy
works: Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for
thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews,
and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy
feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come
upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come
quickly; hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that

may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel
unto the blood of Zachariah son of Jehoiada, whom ye slew between the temple and the
altar. It was Zachariah son of Jehoiada that was slain between the temple and the altar.
See 2nd Chronicles 24:20-22.
Matthew 27:9 The KJV is quoting Jeremiah here, but this quote is not from
Jeremiah! It is from Zechariah. See Zechariah 11:12-13 Mark 13:6 The KJV reads as follows: “For many shall come in my name, saying, I
am Christ; and shall deceive many.” However, the Greek word Cristov (Christos) is
not in the text. The Aramaic text says, “…I am…” Dr. James Bullinger, in his notes,
says this should read “…that I am [He]…” The Word of Yahweh follows Bullinger’s
notes in this verse.
This entire article is based on footnotes in The Word of Yahweh. It is by no means a
complete list of the differences between the KJV and The Word of Yahweh.
The Word of Yahweh is one of the most accurate sacred name translations. Is it
perfect? No. We will be the first to admit that! We do feel that it is a good sacred name
translation. One of the advantages to using The Word of Yahweh is that it is based on
the KJV text (although more accurate). There are many study tools that are based on the KJV. These are also very helpful with The Word of Yahweh.

It’s More Than the King James Version with Sacred Names Restored!
When the Holy Name Bible, the work of Angelo Traina, was the most popular Sacred Name bible it was often said that it was basically the King James Version with the
Sacred Names restored. Looking back, it is not hard to see that this was not an accurate
statement. Now we have The Word of Yahweh, and since the King James Version was
used as the base text some are making similar statements. If you say that the Word of
Yahweh is simply the King James Version with the Sacred Names restored, please read
the rest of this article! Have your Bible handy. Complete verses are not quoted in many
cases in this article.
The Word of Yahweh is more accurate than the KJV. This fact will become obvious
after you read and study the following scriptures. First let’s consider the following group
of scriptures. In each one of these verses the KJV is not accurate when compared to the
original Hebrew scriptures. The Word of Yahweh is true to the original Hebrew in all of
these scriptures. Note: When you see the words “some translations read…” in the footnotes of The
Word of Yahweh, you can accurately substitute “the KJV reads…” Now, please
compare the following verses in the KJV and The Word of Yahweh. You will find that
the KJV takes liberties with the original Hebrew scriptures and that The Word of Yahweh
is true to the original Hebrew text.
Ex. 16:3 Note that where the KJV says “Would to [Elohim]” a correct translation of
the Hebrew is “Would that”. The Hebrew text does not have the word Elohim in this
verse.
Lev. 24:11, 16 Where the KJV says “blasphemed the name of [Yahweh]”, the
Hebrew text says only “blasphemed the Name”.
Joshua 22:29, also 24:16 Where the KJV says “[Elohim] forbid”, a more correct rendering is “far be it from us”.
1 Sam 10:24 The KJV says “[Elohim] save the king” at the end of this verse. The
correct translation is “Let the king live”.
Isa 65:11, p 747 The KJV not only covers up the name of Yahweh in this verse, but
also covers up the names of two pagan idols. The apparent reason is to cover up the fact
that Yahweh does not want us to call Him God! “But ye are they that forsake the LORD,
that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink
offering unto that number.” The 2nd edition of The Word of Yahweh renders this verse
“But ye are they that forsake Yahweh, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table
for Gad*, and that furnish the drink offering unto Meni**” The footnotes for this verse
say: Pronounced "Gawd", or "God", a Canaanite deity of fortune. ** Deity of fate who the Jews worshipped in Babylonia.
Hab 1:12 Where the KJV says “O mighty [Elohim], the correct translation is “O mighty Rock”. This word “Rock” is Strong’s #06697, rwu tsuwr tsoor or ru tsur tsoor.
In the following scriptures the KJV agrees with the current Hebrew text (the
Masoretic text). The Masoretic scribes, however, admit that they changed the text from
the original Hebrew. As you will see, in some cases these changes radically change the
meaning of the verse. The Word of Yahweh is true to the original Hebrew text in all of
these scriptures.

Gen 18:22 Where the KJV says “but Abraham stood yet before [Yahweh]”, it
should be “but Yahweh stood yet before Abraham.”
Num. 11:15 Where the KJV says “and let me not see my wretchedness”, it should
say “and let me not see thy evil”.
1 Sam 3:13 Where the KJV says “because his sons made themselves vile”, it should
say, “because his sons cursed Elohim”. 2 Sam 12:14 Where the KJV says “thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of
[Yahweh] to blaspheme”, it should read “thou hast greatly blasphemed Yahweh.”
2 Sam 16:12 The KJV says, “It may be that [Yahweh] will look on mine
affliction…” A more literal rendering of this verse is “It may be that Yahweh will behold
with his eye…”
1 Kings 12:16 KJV: “So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them,
the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we
inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house,
David. So Israel departed unto their tents.” It does not say “to your tents” in the original
Hebrew. It actually says “to your elohim”, revealing that the Israelites were worshipping
idols!
2 Chron 10:16 KJV: “And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we
have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now,
David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.” This is the same as
1 Kings 12:16. Instead of “to your tents”, the original Hebrew says “to your elohim”.
Job 7:20 KJV: “I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men?
why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?” Instead of
“to myself”, it should read “unto Thee”. Job is saying that he is a burden unto Yahweh,
not to himself (Job)!
Job 32:3 KJV: “Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they
had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.” It says Yahweh, not Job in the
original Hebrew! Ps 10:3 KJV: “For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the
covetous, whom [Yahweh] abhorreth.” The original Hebrew actually reads “…and the
covetous man blasphemeth, yea abhorreth Yahweh”!
Matthew 1:13 The Greek text of Matthew 1:1-17 omits a name in Messiah’s
genealogy. The genealogy in Matthew is supposed to have three sets of fourteen names
each (Matt. 1:17), but the last set contains only thirteen names in the Greek text. The
missing name, Abner, does appear in the DuTillet Hebrew text of Matthew 1:13. The
KJV follows the Greek text. The Word of Yahweh has Yahshua’s complete genealogy,
as found in the Hebrew DuTillet Matthew.
Matthew 23:1-3 The KJV reads as follows: “Then spake [Yahshua] to the
multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
The Word of Yahweh has a footnote in verse 3 indicating that the Hebrew version of
the book of Matthew known as Shem Tov has "he" here, referring back to Moses. We
believe that this is the correct rendering of this verse and in the 3rd edition we intend to
correct the text of verse 3 and eliminate or change the footnote.
Matthew 23:35 The KJV reads as follows: “That upon you may come all the
righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of

“PLEASANT DREAMS” I really enjoy having good dreams at night…when I’m sound asleep…and my body
is mending! It feels so refreshing in the morning to wake up, and feel like I can tackle the
world! But on the other hand, when I wake up from a turbulent night of dreams that
weren’t so pleasant or didn’t make any sense, that refreshing feeling is not there! I’m
sure that all reading this study paper have gone through the same tossing and turning all
night.
Let’s tackle this subject of dreams…and see what is said about them within the
Scriptures. It should be an interesting study! Let’s begin our Berean investigation! First,
we’ll search our trusty Webster’s New World Dictionary, College Edition, for some
definitions: Dream – a sequence of sensations, images, thoughts, etc. passing through a sleeping
person’s mind.
Dreamer – a person who dreams.
Dreamland – a place that seems to appear to one in dreams.
We can see from the above definitions that a person who is in a deep sleep, and is
dreaming; (1) has sensations (2) has images (3) and has thoughts going through his/her
mind.
It appears to me, that we could be very vulnerable at this state of deep sleep, from
being attacked by our arch-enemy, ha Shatan! If we go to bed in a bad attitude, angry,
worried about something, or if we saw a bad, scary movie…or it could be from drugs or
alcohol…or a myriad of other things!
We all need to pray before going to sleep…asking for protection during this time of vulnerability…so that we can get the much needed rest that our bodies need…so that we
wake up refreshed when we do rise and shine! Agreed?
At times, our Heavenly Father gave His words to the prophets of old and to our
forefathers through dreams…the man Ya’aqob (Jacob) had some very interesting dreams.
Let’s investigate!
Genesis 28:11-12 – (11) And he (Ya’aqob) lighted upon a certain place, and tarried
there all night, because the sun was set. And he took one of the stones of the place, and
put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep. (ASV) (12) And he had a
dream, and in his dream he saw steps stretching from earth to heaven, and the
messengers (angels) of Elohim were going up and down on them. (BBE)
Do you think that you or I could have slept this peacefully with a stone for a pillow? I personally use two pillows…and I like my pillows fluffy and soft…I’m spoiled!
Anyway, our Creator will not do anything without first informing His people through His
prophets. Exactly, what was our Creator saying to this man Ya’aqob?
Amos 3:7 – Surely, the Sovereign Yahweh (YHWH) does nothing without revealing
His plan to His servants the prophets. (NIV)
Genesis 28:13-15 – (13) And behold, Yahweh stood above it (the steps!) and said, I
am Yahweh, the Elohim of Abraham your father and the Elohim of Isaac; the land on
which you lie I will give to you and to your descendants; (RSV) (14) And your seed shall
be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to
the north, and to the south; and in you and in your seed shall all the families of the earth
be blessed. (DBY) (15) And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you in every place
where you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you until I have done that which I have spoken of to you. (MKJV)

This is the kind of dream to have, and it definitely came to pass! When the Creator
talks to one of His prophets…every word spoken is true and will occur just as the Creator
stated.
Isaiah 55:11 – So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not
return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in
the thing whereto I sent it. (ASV) EVERYTIME! Not 99.9% of the time…NO...but 100% of the time! In my mind,
anyone who is 99.9% correct would be considered [to me] a false prophet. Agreed? We
must always keep in mind, that ha Shatan has his followers…who prophesy…and who
know the Scriptures forwards and backwards…just like a true prophet or believer.
Deuteronomy 13:1-3 – (1) If ever you have among you a prophet or a dreamer of
dreams and he gives you a sign or a wonder, (BBE) (2) And the sign or the wonder
which he foretold to you occurs, saying, Let us go after other [elohim] which you have
not known, and let us serve them; (MKJV) (3) You shall not listen to the words of that
prophet or to that dreamer of dreams; for Yahweh your Elohim is testing you, to know
whether you love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul. (RSV)
Jeremiah 23:26-32 – (26) How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that
prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; (KJV) (27) Who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his
neighbor, as their fathers forgot My Name for Baal (L-rd). (NKJ) (28) The prophet that
has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that has my word, let him speak my word
faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? says Yahweh. (ASV) (29) Is not my word like
fire? Says Yahweh; and like a hammer, smashing the rock to bits? (BBE) (30) Therefore,
behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahweh, that steal my words every one from his
neighbor. (DBY) (31) Yahweh says, Behold, I am against the prophets who use their
tongues and say, He says. (MKJV) (32) Behold, I am against them that prophesy false
dreams, says Yahweh, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by
their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit

As we have witnessed within the Scriptures, dreams have been used by our Creator: (1) to give His people prophetic words (2) every word of these dreams came to pass!
And we have also read about false prophets, who proclaimed false dreams: (1) to deceive
(2) to falsify (3) and to lie purposely.
False dreams have been allowed by our Creator to see what His believers would
[will] do, in other words, they were [are] put to the test! He wants to see what’s in the
heart. In our day and age, are prophetic dreams still in the big picture? Or are they just
an Old Covenant occurrence? Also, in the New Covenant Scriptures, are there any
indications of false dreamers? Let’s investigate.

Acts 2:17-18 – (17) In the last days, Elohim says, I will pour out my Spirit on all
people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your
old men will dream dreams. (NIV) See also Joel 2:28-29. (18) And on My menservants
and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

In conclusion, dreams: (1) are very important for us in the physical sense (2) our
bodies mend during this period of deep sleep (3) we need to pray for protection during
our dream time (4) our Creator uses dreams to give His people His prophetic word (5)
we must be aware of false dreamers.

Yahweh is Worthy of Our Praise In any discussion of this nature, it is important to remember that Yahweh is not “a
genie in a bottle.” He is not simply waiting in heaven to receive our list of self-centered
requests. On the contrary, Yahweh is indeed worthy of our praise and is pleased when
we come before Him with thanksgiving! He wants to be appreciated just as we do.
Praise and adoration are not merely “appetizers” in the lives of believers – they are part
of the main course.
David gave us so many wonderful words of praise in the Psalms; and also in 1
Chronicles 16:29, “Ascribe unto Yahweh the honour due unto his name: bring an
offering, and come before him: worship Yahweh in the beauty of holiness.”
Praise and worship are essential to an effective and satisfying life of prayer. When Yahshua taught His disciples how they should pray, he began with praise …“Our Father
which art in heaven, Hallowed by thy name (Matthew 6:9). I find that my worship is
richer when I offer to Yahweh praise and thanks for three things: who He is, what He
does, and what He gives every day throughout our lifetime.
Yahweh is most worthy of our praise and it brings Him pleasure. The prayer of the
upright is His delight (Proverbs 15:8b). He invites us into conversation with Him
because it brings Him pleasure. That’s a little hard to believe isn’t it? The perfect and all-
powerful ruler of the universe enjoys our prayer of praise. Yahweh actually delights in
and seeks our worship (John 4:23). “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true
worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to
worship Him.” It always thrills my heart to read those verses. It is overwhelming to
think that when I worship Him in spirit and truth, Yahweh is actively seeking me! Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is
Yahweh’s will for you in Yahshua (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Rejoice in Yahweh
always. I will say it again, Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Master is
near. (Philippians 4:4-7). In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with an inner joy
(Philippians 1:4).
Yahweh is our Creator, Sustainer, Father; our source of all joy and love. Every
breath we breathe is a gift from Him. Let us have joy and peace in our hearts, and let us
not be self-centered. When we pray, praise our Elohim with all our heart and mind.
The Sabbath Day
A beautiful, life-giving and glorious Day! It is a gift from Yahweh to His children.
Never more needed than now, and never in more imminent peril. Let us as believers do
what we can to keep the Sabbath Day unspoiled, and to hand it down to our children as a
rich legacy. Let us exalt Yahweh and worship Him throughout our whole lifetime.
Be careful of your example! Show by your conduct that you love, appreciate and
value the Sabbath day. Make it different (separate) from all other days. Make it the
jewel of the week. It is Yahweh’s given day of rest and worship. Do not let it fade away. Guard it. Treasure it. Consecrate it. Make it special.
Get into the depths of the meaning of it. Ascend to the tops of the wonderful truths
embodied in it. Walk in the spirit of the day. Say to yourself and others, “This is the Day
which Yahweh has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

IN MEMORIAM
GARTH C. COOK – died in Yahshua August 25, 2004. Garth Cecil Cook was
born April 26, 1914 in Millbrook, Michigan. He met and married Josephine M. Berry
almost 62 years ago. Together they had one daughter Janett Kay who gave them one
grandson Tyrone and one granddaughter Mishae.
Garth and Josephine began meeting with a small group of believers on Scout Road in
Eaton County, Michigan during the late 1940’s. They believed in helping their neighbors and encouraging people to live a sanctified life. They were involved for several years
with a garden project in Lansing, Michigan, which helped senior citizens and the needy.
He was a strong believer in the true Hebrew names of Yahweh and Yahshua. Garth
would demonstrate how the different Native American Indian tribes used Yahweh’s name
in their Indian chants.
Garth loved to play his violin in the Assembly on Sabbath and during the Feasts.
Garth lived in the hope of the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15). Garth was an Elder of the
Assembly of Yahweh in Eaton Rapids, MI. A memorial service was held at the
Assembly of Yahweh, Eaton Rapids, Michigan, celebrating his life.
JOHN W. TRESCOTT (12/04/1929 - 3/05/2005). The family and friends (spiritual
and secular) wish to announce the victory celebration of a saint of the Almighty, Yahweh Elohim. The spirit of John W. Trescott passed into the capable, loving hands of our
Heavenly Father on Sabbath, March 5, 2005. We ask you to rejoice with us for “John”
has beaten the world and its influence, Satan can no longer touch him in any way and the
diseases that slowed him down and eventually took his physical life only are gone
forever. He is at rest, he is at peace.
John was born in Rochester, New York, he was called into Yahweh’s Truth when he
was in the Air Force and was baptized in July, 1959. John was ordained (into Yahshua’s
ministry) January 29, 1981 to be a “unifier”. John did everything in his power to fulfill
this mission in his life. He married his wife and life’s partner, Retta Jo Farrington,
February 21, 1981.
John’s accomplishments include a life’s dedication to Yahweh and His Truths (see 2 Thessalonians 2:10), and I personally believe he did more to spread the truth about the
“Crescent New Moon Calendar” and other Biblical Truths as well, than any other man in
