Social media intro

Basically, they are web sites where, for free, we can connect and interact with other people.

What makes social media different is that it is more than two-waycommunication.



People, like us, want to be engaged.

We want to interact.

We want to connect.

We want to feel part of organizations we support and feel that relationship.



We need to take the necessary steps to protect our families and our careers by protecting our privacy on any social media sites we belong.

What is Twitter?



First thing we’re going to do with our new account is go to Settings.



Make sure all of our info is complete and scroll to the bottom.



This is where we can control if our tweets are public or private.

Also, notice this is where the ‘Deactivate my account’ is located.
