The Heyfield Community Resource Centre is an agent for DHS and can provide the following services: Access to the Internet and assistance to customers in the use of

self service products. We cannot issue payments, payment reviews or Health Care

Cards, assess or vary any payment. Our access point provides self help facilities which assist customers to access DHS services. This includes services such as: Use of telephone to speak to a DHS

customer service officer. Use of a fax machine to send

information to DHS Provide DHS forms, brochures and

information products. Use of a DHS computer.

We are open Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm.

Open Fridays This group was established in 1993 at the Heyfield Community Resource Centre with the aim to provide the facilities & to encourage research by the local community to trace their family history & roots.

Membership fees: Annual subscription $27.00 Family annual 2 or more members $44.00 Pensioner $22.00 Student $17.00

Library & meeting times: We have access to ancesty.com for all members on 4 computers. Also we have a substantial library of books, assisted shipping records 1844-1896, many Victorian cemetery lists on microfiche & CD. NSW,VIC,WA,SA,TAS,BD & M on microfiche, VIC, WA, BD,& M on CDs. The group hold a monthly meeting on the 3rd Friday of each month, at 9.30 am all members are most welcome. Members are on duty to assist visitors to carry out their research. Non members $5.00 per session.

Research officer & fees: Research fees $10.00 per hour plus photocopying, postage & expenses. Print all names, dates & provide a brief outline. All requests must include a self addressed business sized envelope.

ART with a variety of different mediums:

This is a social ART class with a variety of mediums, such as water colour painting, pastels, drawing with charcoal or pencils.

Reiki 1 & 11 Workshops

Learn these gentle, holistic, hands-on-healing techniques in a weekend workshop of learning & fun. Combine the

teaching of traditional Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2, plus Level 1 Seichim. Give yourself or someone you love a great

Christmas present and learn how to give a healing not only to the self, but also to another (effective on children,

pets & plants). Learn also how to transmit energy over distance and place energy into the future to benefit stress-

ful situations e.g. operation or exams.

Learn how to perform basic hands on healing

Learn easy and effective techniques to give yourself or another person a healing. Using universal energy (Chi or

Prana) learn how to aid healing and help in recovery from illness. Hands on healing can be particularly helpful to

people suffering from stress or stress related illnesses. Can be beneficial for animals, plants and children.

Tuesday 8th March 10am—noon, $20

Techniques to send healing energies over a distance

These techniques follow on from the hands on healing workshop. Learn how to send healing at a distance

(absentee). Practical tool not only to send healing over distance but also how to place healing energies into the

future to drop in at a specific time; for instance for an operation. These tools can also be modifies to be of assis-

tance in future stressful situations e.g. public speaking or exams.

Tuesday 15th March 10am—noon, $20

Discover and develop your psychic gifts

A weekly course (4 weeks) from 6pm—8pm. Learn meditation and why it is important. Discover where your psy-

chic gifts lie and gain simple tools to develop those gifts. Have fun as you learn to trust your intuition and expand

your spiritual awareness. This group will also comprise a healing circle every session.

Monday 29th February $60 for the whole course.

Marie Ross is an experienced Counsellor, Hypnotherapist, Teacher, Reiki Master and psychic with over 20 years in the

adult education sector. Marie is passionate about helping her students and clients achieve profound, positive change in

their lives, using the mind as a way to self-confidence and success. Marie has spent the last six years as a senior lectur-

er at The Academy of Hypnotic Science In Elsternwick teaching Clinical Hypnotherapists and has come to East Gipps-

land to continue her work at a much more relaxed pace.
