More jobs.Stimulates economic growth.Landowners can make more money by selling their land to mining companies.
Cons of Fracking
Water contamination. Negative air emissions.Large amounts of methane emissions causing global warming.Triggering small earthquakes.
Cons of Frac Sand Mining
dust would threaten residents’ health. groundwater could be contaminated. trucks would bog down traffic and damage roads and highways.Loss of picturesque landscape.Loss of tourist industry.
