FAITH FORMATION STAFF

WE ARE LOCATED NEXT TO THE PARISH OFFICE!

HOURS: Mon to Thurs: 10am to 3pm CLOSED ON FRIDAY 813-885-7861

“Then the other disciple also went in, the one who had arrived at the tomb first, and he saw and believed.” -John 20:8 St. John the Apostle and Evangelist had an amazing strength of faith. He saw the empty tomb and immediately believed in the risen Christ. How often do you struggle with total abandonment to be-lief in Christ? Is your faith in Christ as unwavering as the Beloved Disciple’s?

If you are a Catholic adult and want to know more about your Catholic faith, join us every other Wednesday night. Gatherings will begin on February 1, in the Parish Confer-ence Room from 7-8:30pm. Come and see! There is no fee. For more info. contact Carmen Cayon at [email protected] or by calling the parish off ice.

SACRAMENT PREPARATION Thank you to all the volunteers, Father Diego, Deacon Frank, ICS teachers and students who worked so hard in making the Jesus Day Retreat for the children and their families who are making First Communion this

year such a wonderful experience! The children participated in a bread making, decorating crosses, tour of the church, and church eti-quette. They each received a Blessing Cup with a book of prayers, The Catholic Family Bible. Thank you to all the parents, volunteers and Youth Peer Ministers who assisted with the Confirmation Retreat yester-day! What a beautiful day it was for all! We were blessed to have Marcellino and Anthony D’Ambrosio come in a lead the days activities for our Confirmation Candidates. Please keep these young men and women in your prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacra-ment of Confirmation next Saturday. Rehearsal for Confirmation is this Wednesday at 7:00PM in the church. Please be on time. Your sponsor should be with you if possible. Confirmation begins at 11:00AM on Saturday, Feb. 4th. All Candidates and sponsors MUST be in St. Michael’s Hall by 10:30AM!

Our Youth Group, A.R.K. will be collec ng money next weekend a er all Masses for the poor and needy of our Parish. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

FEEDING THE HOMELESS – with JOY MIN-ISTRIES is looking for volunteers to help prepare the food to be taken out to the streets for the homeless each month. If you and your family would like to participate in this wonderful Minis-try please contact Philomena Johnson in the Faith Formation Office at 813-885-7861.
