th. FINANCE: It was reported that additional people were needed to
count Offertory money. Finances are good. CHURCH CALENDAR: May Crowning of Mary is May 7 at 9AM Mass. First Holy Communion is May 13 at 10AM. Mother’s Day is May 14. The men will sponsor a reception after Mass. Father’s Day is June 18. There will be a reception after Mass. FUND-RAISING: Fish Fry – 152 plates were sold with a profit of $536. Profit was used to purchase fans for the Church. Food Festival - $5900.00 profit. Chicken Picken will be held on June 3 at Butner Gazebo Park. Maggie Davies will be requesting donations of items needed. SOCIAL COMMITTEE will arrange the reception for Father’s Day. MAINTENANCE: Bob Carr submitted a proposal to the Finance Com-mittee for a new sound system. MISC: Jo Ann Carr was re-elected as Council Chairman. Consejo Parroquial se reunió el 24 de abril.
