1. Book a table at a restaurant while you wait for your bus

Finnish ad agency HeyDey decided to give bus commuters in helsinki some interactive fun while they wait. They

installed a touchscreen into one of the formats at a tram stop, advertising a local restaurant.

The interactive display allowed passers-by to reserve a table at the restaurant, browse the menu, order a coupon by SMS and watch tv. To make a reservation, customers simply choose the time and date they’d like to eat. After entering their mobile phone number, they then receive a

text confirming their reservation.Once the person has their meal and leaves, they receive another text message asking for feedback about their experience, for which they are given a coupon for their

next visit. The advert is brilliant as it engages its audience

immediately. Those who are interested in making a reservation can do so while they’re waiting. It also gives incentive for booking as well through the use of coupons

before and after your visit.

inspection or by a home loan.

Their campaign message is that they’ve abolished over half of their home loan fees such as switching fees and

5. Vodafone sponsorship of sziget festival

Here is a nice example of how vodafone maximised their sponsorship of sziget music festival in budapest.

They offered various different things to all festival goers and they rewarded vodafone customers.

They wanted to showcase everything that you can do on vodafone’s network. There was a 30 metre high game that you could control via your smartphone, a shop where you could trial and buy different devices, and live video feeds

with backstage moments from the festival. Vodafone customers had access to cheaper fast pass tickets, a

festival app and a VIP party.
