Reading logs are due Monday, October 26 th . Please make sure that your child’s first and last name appears on the log! This log will be due after break. You may turn the reading log in on Friday if you would like! (TAG) Creativity Enrichment: Please complete the at home PBL on Creek and Cherokee Indians. Information was sent home on Friday. I will also attach it to my website. Book Clubs: Please check your child’s book bag for book club homework. It varies per book club. I ask that you please check the agenda daily. Specials Rotation(10/19-10/23) Monday Reading Lab Tuesday Computer Lab Wednesday Library Thursday PE (wear tennis shoes) Friday Music This week in: Word Study: we will begin studying compound words Mentor Sentence – This week we will be focusing on facts to convey information. Language Arts Skills- compound words Reading Workshop- we will continue our unit of study on fables. Writing Workshop- we will work on writing fables. Math Workshop- continue work on adding 2 digit numbers with missing addends. Ex} 23+___=43 and starting subtraction with two digits. We will be focusing on subtraction with regrouping in small groups. Social Studies-continuing work on Georgia’s Five Regions; locating them on a map and knowing at least 3 features of each region.
