s upplementary rcport of the Oregon State Library for the

Liennial term about to close.

I I 'lVe not followed the example set by my predecessor

i n submitting a full and complete catalogue of the State

Library, but I haYe complied strictly with section 8, chap­

te r 30, of Code.

I have arrang~d the reports in two divisions: The first,

contains tlie Gen_eral Laws, Supreme Comt Reports and Hepo1ts of Public Officers; tLe second, General Docn-

111ents and Miscellaneous.

At the beginning of my term of office, there was, as rc­

po1ted by former Librarian, in the Library, 7,384 volumes:

received during my term of otiice, 899, making a total of
