• IHE XDS and related profiles deployed on consolidated server/router “rackable” solution: easy installation, minimal training

• Architecture allows information sharing with clinics having limited and intermittent bandwidth

• Six-month pilot went live in November 2008• Full project to be implemented in 3 years over 37

hospitals, 400+ clinics, approximately 17,000 beds, 9,245,087 residents
