1 INTRODUCTION

The UK Department for Transport (DfT) and its UK partners Highways England (HE), Transport forLondon(TfL), and Kent County Council (KCC); have made a commitment to the EU to deliver a UKbased Connected Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) technical testing event, on October 8 th – 11th

2018. The event forms part of the InterCor (Interoperable Corridors) project, co-financed by the EU.InterCor consists of a number of C-ITS corridor initiatives in the Netherlands, France, the UnitedKingdom and Belgium. InterCor’s aim is to achieve a sustainable network of continuous C-ITScorridors that serve as a testbed for Day-One C-ITS service development and beyond.

To enable practical rollout of interoperable C-ITS services, technical specifications must be validatedin broader contexts. For this reason, InterCor partners have each been tasked with implementingspecific technical testing events, called “TESTFESTs”. TESTFESTs will contribute to the harmoniseddeployment of specifications of C-ITS services and connected corridors.

For its part, the UK InterCor TESTFEST requires UK partners to validate a set of specifications forhybrid communications for C-ITS services, utilising a combination of cellular and ITS-G5communication. The event will also provide the basic infrastructure and selected Amsterdam Day Oneservices to enable C-ITS vendors to test and verify the interoperability of their products, acrossborders.

TESTFEST forms ‘Phase 0’ of the UK’s A2M2 Connected Corridor between London and Dover. TheA2M2 Connected Corridor is a flagship CAV pilot project in the transport industry; this test bed thatwill help UK Partners deliver upon UK Roads Investment Strategy and EU commitments, in additionto defining the benefits of C-ITS services.

1.1 PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENTThis document is the ‘plan of action’ for the InterCor UK Hybrid TESTFEST, to be held 8th October –11th October. The aim of this document is to inform TESTFEST participants1 of TESTFEST:

1.2 INTERCOR CONTRACTUAL REFERENCESInterCor (Interoperable Corridors) links the C-ITS corridor initiatives of the Netherlands C-ITS CorridorNetherlands-Germany-Austria and the French one defined in SCOOP@F, and extending to the UnitedKingdom and Belgium C-ITS initiatives.InterCor is an action co-financed by the European Union under the Grant Agreement numberINEA/CEF/TRAN/M2015/1143833. The Project duration is 36 months, effective from the 1st ofSeptember 2016 until the 31st of August 2019. It is a contract with the Innovation and NetworksExecutive Agency (INEA), under the powers delegated by the European Commission.

2 UK HYBRID TESTFEST DESCRIPTION

2.1 INTERCOR INTRODUCTIONInterCor stands for Interoperable Corridors, linking the C-ITS corridor initiatives of the Netherlands C-ITS Corridor NL-DE-AT, the French SCOOP@F and extending to United Kingdom and Belgium C-ITS initiatives to achieve a sustainable network of corridors providing continuity of C-ITS services andoffering a testbed for beyond Day-One C-ITS service development.

InterCor is a 3-year study that seeks to enable vehicles and the related road infrastructure tocommunicate data through cellular, ITS G5 or a combination of cellular and ITS-G5 (hybrid) networkson a road corridor through the Netherlands, Belgium/Flanders, UK and France to achieve safer, moreefficient and more convenient mobility of people and goods.The objectives of InterCor study are:

1. Demonstrating a large-scale interoperable deployment of C-ITS through the Netherlands,Belgium / Flanders, UK and France to achieve safer, more efficient and more convenientmobility of people and goods.

2. Foster four member states cross border interoperability by ensuring interoperability testing,security and certification, seamless continuity of service, operation and maintenance.

3. Provide C-ITS services on a broader scale by specifying, using and fostering an hybridcommunication approach to utilise a combination of cellular and ITS-G5 communication.

4. Extend the strategic cooperation between C-ITS front running countries and assist otherMember states to step-in in a cost-effective and future-proof way to develop and apply thecommon deployment framework through the consistent and cohesive network of corridors.

5. Evaluate through a common evaluation framework the cumulative, real-life benefits of C-ITSapplications towards increased safety, efficiency, flexibility, user acceptance, sustainability ofroad transport, to support public and private stakeholders to invest in C-ITS.

Being a part of Intelligent Transport Systems, cooperative ITS (C-ITS or cooperative systems)encompass a group of technologies and applications that allow effective data exchange throughwireless communication technologies between components and actors of the transport system, veryoften between vehicles (vehicle-to-vehicle or V2V) or between vehicles and infrastructure (vehicle-to-infrastructure or V2I and infrastructure-to-vehicle or I2V)

The deployment of C-ITS is an evolutionary process that will start with the less complex use cases.These are referred to as ‘Day-1’ services, encompassing messages about traffic jams, hazardouslocations, road works and slow or stationary vehicles, as well as weather information and speedadvice to harmonise traffic. Using probe vehicle and infrastructure related data, all C-ITS servicesshall be transmitted directly into the vehicles in a way that allows users to get informed but notdistracted.

InterCor aims to streamline C-ITS implementation in four EU member states (MS) linking thedifferent national initiatives towards a harmonized strategic rollout and the use of commonspecifications. C-ITS pilot sites able to send data through ITS-G5 and/or cellular networks will beinstalled in the Netherlands, Belgium (Flanders), UK and France, for the operation and evaluation ofC-ITS services.

InterCor initially focuses on the deployment of ‘Day-1’ services as recommended by EC ‘C-ITSplatform’ such as Road Works Warning. Green Light Optimized Speed Advisory, In-Vehicle Signageand Probe Vehicle Data. In the second phase, it will also test other logistic services such asMultimodal cargo optimization, Truck Parking and Tunnel logistics.

The InterCor Action is a study project with three main pilot activities:• Pilot Roll out Preparation• Pilot Operations• Pilot Evaluation.

InterCor will commence with activity 2, the pilot preparations by developing a set of commonspecifications for ITS-G5, Hybrid communication, PKI and C-ITS services on logistics and trafficmanagement, and validating them in interoperability testing events (TESTFESTs) in the fourmember states, with the overall aim to deliver roll out guidelines for future deployment. In the thirdactivity, the project coordinates the pilot operations in the four member states by providing acommon pilot framework and rolling out the set of common specifications. In the fourth activity,called Pilot Evaluation, the study will provide a common evaluation framework for all member statesand deliver a technical evaluation, impact assessment and user acceptance for the pilots in the fourmember states.

2.2 INTERCOR TESTFESTS

The first InterCor TESTFEST focused on ETSI-G5 and was organized, under responsibility ofRijkswaterstaat, by member state the Netherlands. The objective of this TESTFEST was to validatethe interoperability of existing ITS-G5 services based on the common set of specificationsdeveloped in the InterCor project's sub activity 2.1a.

A further small scale GLOSA Pre-TESTFEST has since taken place to test the interoperability ofGLOSA services profiled in InterCor and Talking Traffic in the Netherlands. With support fromInterCor partners in UK, this PRE-TESTFEST was also arranged in anticipation of the HybridTESTFEST in the UK in October 2018. It has verified the InterCor standards for:

· (in-car) GLOSA services over cellular and ITS-G5 communication networks

· GLOSA hybrid data provisioning over InterCor Hybrid Data interface IF2

The second InterCor TESTFEST focused on security and was organized, under responsibility ofUniversité de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, by member state France. The objective of this

TESTFEST was to validate the interoperability of the PKI specifications defined within the InterCorproject (sub activity 2.1c).

The UK TESTFEST is the third InterCor TESTFEST, organised under the responsibility of theDepartment for Transport and UK Partners, by member state UK.

The fourth and final TESTFEST will focus on testing the interoperability of the specifications thathave been developed throughout the InterCor programme. Participants will begin in the UK beforedriving through France, Belgium and ending in the Netherlands. Testing events will be held in eachcountry to test services working across borders.

2.3 OBJECTIVE OF THE UK TESTFESTThe Hybrid TESTFEST, the third of four, is being co-organised by the InterCor project together withUK partners of the A2M2 project. It will take place on sections of the M2, A2, A102 and A229 in Kentand London. The main goal of this TESTFEST is to test the delivery of Day-1 services operating in a“hybrid” combination of ITS-G5 and cellular communication systems. It will also investigate the cross-border interoperability of these services through a separate deployment of two distinct C-ITS systemsinto “Country A” and “Country B” systems.

2.5 PRECONDITIONSAll testing will be undertaken in accordance with Highways England documents: Operations Plan,Safety Plan, and Plan for Monitoring Operations; administered by Highways England and TfL. Theconduct of the drivers and test vehicles will be the sole responsibility of the participants. UK Partnersreserve the right to instruct the suspension or cessation of on-road testing for operational and/or safetyreasons – to protect the safety and operational management of the Partner’s road networks.The following rules and instructions apply:

1. All drivers must register their attendance on each day. By doing so they will be confirming theyhave read, understood, and will comply with the driver risk assessment.

2. A safety briefing is scheduled prior to each morning and afternoon testing session. Attendanceat the daily briefings is mandatory for all participants; participation in the testing will becontingent upon attendance.

3. All drivers must be accompanied and shall not take part in any testing activites whatsoever;drivers shall ignore all warnings and advice shown on HMI displays.

4. Drivers shall ensure that they have a clear understanding of each route and how to navigate itincluding exits to take.

5. UK traffic signs and regulations must be complied with at all times.

6. Participants are to ensure that their vehicles are appropriately insured, and that drivers havea driving licence valid in the UK.

7. Drivers must follow the UK Highway code. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code

8. Drivers must not use a mobile phone or any other radio whilst driving.

9. The hard shoulder is only for use in case of emergency and must not be used for any part ofthe testing. Where it is necessary for a driver or occupant to leave the vehicle (i.e. where anoccupant’s vehicle has broken down), the driver and occupants must wear hi-visibility jacketswhen exiting the vehicle.

10. Participants are to follow instructions from the Safety Officer and test centre Marshalls at alltimes.

11. The main test centre and the urban test centre will be accessible for registered participantsonly.

12. Participation is open to all (including non-InterCor members) subject to registration, thescope of participation and the availability of places; in that order. Invitations have also beensent to C-Roads partners, C-ITS Corridor partners and via ERTICO mailing lists.

13. Participants will take part in the TESTFEST at their own expense.

14. Only the use cases described in this document will be included for testing.

15. UK partners are not liable for any loss or damage due to reduced availability of the ITS-G5 /cellular services and/or the test track for whatever reason.

16. Participants must provide their own test vehicle, and appropriate in-vehicle peripherals suchas antenna, cables, adaptors, power supplies etc required for their intended equipmenttesting.

17. InterCor / UK Partners videos and/or pictures will be shot during the TESTFEST for use bypartner orgnaisations. These will be made available to participants but promotional use of thismaterial will require consent from InterCor / UK Partners.

18. Participants shall allow the use of all data transmitted for research and evaluation purposes byInterCor.

19. It is expected, that participants in the TESTFEST share their findings during the tests (onlythose related to the common specifications). Those findings – made anonymous on request -can be used for the reporting on the TESTFEST.

20. ITS-Stations (OBUs) are assumed to be compliant to standards, e.g. be able to pass the ETSIplug tests. Compliancy is the responsibility of the participant; there will be no entry tests,however the UK Project Team may be able to make the services available for testing prior tothe event.

2.6 REPORTINGUpon completion of the TESTFEST event a number of reports will be produced. These reports willinclude:• Presentation of the test site• Description of the tested services• Test scenarios and test descriptions• Qualitative and quantitative test results• Lessons learned and conclusions.

The reports will be made available to all TESTFEST participants and will also be published on theInterCor website (InteCor-project.eu). Further communication means (press releases, twitter, etc.)may be used to advertise the TESTFEST results to the wider public.

The reports for all the planned TESTFEST events will be compiled into a single deliverable for InterCormilestone M7 (Completion of validation of specifications) due date tbc.

3 TEST SITE DETAILS

3.1 MAIN TEST CENTREThe main test centre is located at Buckmore Part Kart Circuit. The address is Buckmore Park KartCircuit, Maidstone Road, Chatham, Kent. Postcode ME5 9QG. Telephone 01634 201562.The main test centre is located close to the M2 at Junction 3, accessible from the westbound exit ofthe A229/A2045 roundabout west of Junction 3 of the M2.

3.3 FIELD TEST LOCATIONS

Local field tests (cellular and ITS-G5) will take place in the immediate vicinity of the main test centresite; on the M2 Motorway (Strategic Road Network) and the local rural road network (A229 A road).These roads are operated and maintained by Highways England and Kent County Councilrespectively.

Remote field tests (cellular only services) will also be undertaken within Greater London, on the roadnetwork operated and maintained by Transport for London.

Local Field Tests (Motorway & Rural)

The main test centre is located close to Junction 3 of the M2. A single RSU will be made availablefor testing at the test centre which is in the immediate vicinity of the three local test sites.

From M2 Junction 3, a 15km round trip heading South. The route incorporates a virtual border forinteroperability tests, between two sections known as ‘Country A’ and ‘County B’. The virtual borderwill be defined by GPS Coordinates. The test will be an interoperability cellular test using IVS speedadvice and free text to indicate a change of service provider. See Figure 4.

3.3.1.3 Ruraltestsite

From M2 Junction3 at Lord Lees Roundabout; a 13km round trip route on the A229; heading Southtowards Maidstone. A single set of GLOSA equipped fixed time signals is located on the A229Northbound at GPS coordinates: 51.292158, 0.517705.

A 45km trip from the main facilities to the Urban Test Centre at the ‘Kier LoHAC’ depot, located atTunnel Avenue, Greenwich, SE10 0PA. The Urban Test area lies within the M25 orbital Motorwayon TfL’s road network and starts with a Welcome to London message along the A2 location gridreference 51.452613, 0.100784, travelling in the direction of Central London. 3.4 TEST SITES VALIDATIONThe UK TESTFEST team will validate the correct functioning of the local sites on the A229 and M2,and TfL sites on the A2 and A102. Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) will take place from the 27th

September, with an event rehearsal planned for the 3rd / 4th October. It is anticipated that participantswill be able to carry out remote IF2 tests during the rehearsal/dry-run.

A single point of contact for each test team shall direct any questions, prior to or during the event.Queries prior to TESTFEST should be directed via email to the InterCor Lead Peter Schmitting. Allquestions and answers will be relayed to the project team for archiving and post event analysis. Thesubject line in the email shall contain TESTFEST for easy identification.

During the event itself the technical support team will available daily from 09:30 until 17:00. TheEvaluation Lead and the Technical Manager will answer any technical questions and liaise with thesupport team as required.

3.6 FACILITIES

Local Field Test / Main Facility

The main test centre and amenities will be fully available during TESTFEST for all registeredparticipants, accessible for 09:00 until 18:00. The main conference room is situated on the groundfloor with two further suites available on the first floor. The main conference room will be used forbriefings and for participants equipment. The rooms will be set out to facilitate inconspicuous testing.The larger suite on the first floor will be reserved for InterCor meetings. The second suite will beavailable for participant meetings / office facilities. The main conference room will also host the plenarysessions.

Catering facilities will be available throughout the day and lunch will be provided. Participants areexpected to provide for their own evening meal. Internet access will be provided by a specialist eventbroadband provider. The Centre also has its own Wi-Fi facilities. Presentation equipment fordemonstrations and joint analysis will be made available along with pen drives for data sharing of testresults.

Daily registration will take place at the front desk which will be staffed continuously for the duration ofthe event. Contact details of the support team are provided, however the TESTFEST Coordinator andthe support team can be contacted through the front desk. Any information including changes to theagenda will be provided by, and can be obtained from, front desk staff. Tannoy announcements andmessage boards will also be used to convey information to participants.

Remote Field Test Facility

The urban test centre is located at Tunnel Avenue, Greenwich, SE10 0PA. The centre is whereregional TfL Operations are based, co-located with TfL highway contractor, Kier. The centre will beopen for the urban trials on Wednesday the 10th October only.

The daily morning briefing will take place at the main test centre at Buckmore Park, after whichparticipants will be dispatched to the urban test centre which will be used for comfort breaks andbriefings / de-briefings in accordance with the itinerary in section 4.8.Lunch will be provided by TfL.TfL technical support will be available at the urban test centre and via the contact list provided. Aconference room, WiFi, and at least one large meeting room are available along with 12 parking bays.

4 TEST SCENARIOSThe test scenarios are described in full detail by the Scenario Plans document this will be madeavailable on the InterCor website.

4.1 INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL APPROACHInterCor is tasked with demonstrating and developing interoperability between nations and acrossITS-G5 and cellular information services. To meet the InterCor objectives the following AmsterdamDay One services have been selected for deployment:

TfL test areas are in London and will operate as a single scenario route. The static area around theevent centre is a single RSU for testing and establishing communications with vehicles. The sites willoffer a wide range of opportunities to test technical aspects of interoperability and hybrid as follows:

· Bench test - Local test (main test centre) to establish communications.

· Baseline test - Basic ITS-G5 and cellular operation on live roads.

· GLOSA test - functional test of the London cellular GLOSA service.

· Interoperability tests - Testing of cross border operability.

· Hybrid tests - Testing of cross media operability. (Cellular and ITS-G5).

· GLOSA test - functional test of the Kent ITS-G5 GLOSA service.

The GLOSA services and some of the London based IVS signs will replicate real traffic control andtraffic management indications. This means that signs will appear in vehicles at the same time assigns are displayed to all motorists using traditional signs and signals. The Highways EnglandMotorway IVS signs and roadworks warnings will not have a real-world equivalent but the signs thatappear in vehicles will be located where a real gantry or sign exists. The scenarios are designed tooffer the full range of testing and measurement opportunities and are defined in detail within thescenario plans available on the InterCor website.

4.2 CONFIGURATION

As shown in the reference architecture diagram below (section 4.2.1 ) InterCor simulation scripts areconsumed by the C-ITS In station to provide IF2 format outputs. They will then be presented to theIF2 compatible RSUs and the Interchange nodes. IF2 simulation data at the RSU is transmitted usingITS-G5 (IF1 format) directly to On Board Units (OBUs). At the Interchange node, IF2 data will pass to

the Cellular C-ITS service for output in IF1 format. On the A229, GLOSA messages using theController to Roadside Open C-ITS Schema (CROCS) protocol are fed into RSUs from alreadydeployed traffic light controllers.

OBUs use an on-board cellular modem to connect over a private VPN to receive IF1 data. The fourDay One Service applications in the OBU process IF1 data, generating alerts for processing by theHuman Machine Interface (HMI) to generate appropriate graphical information.

Interchange NodeThe interchange node provides for the exchange of ITS messages between C-ITS systems, 3rd partyinformation providers and cellular delivery partners. As per InterCor specifications for IF2communication v1.0, all data to and from the interchange node will be in IF2 format, over AMQP.

Subscribers will receive filtered messages based on geographical and message attributes, using aquad tree algorithm implemented as a routing key. Publishers and subscribers will be authorised toaccess the interchange node via the authentication, authorization, and accounting service (MicrosoftActive Directory). Upon start-up/recovery, the node will not keep any data from its previous cycle; allpublishers will update the interchange node with the latest situational data.

In accordance with the reference architecture for Phase 0, two UIN instances will be created forTESTFEST. Country A – a Unified Interchange Node between the UK ‘Country A’ C-ITS services(simulated data); the TfL C-ITS services interface (simulated and real data); and, the cellular C-ITSservices for both Country A and Country B. Country B – a Unified Interchange Node between ‘CountryB’ C-ITS services (a simulated duplication of Country A); and cellular C-ITS services for both CountryA and Country B.

It is possible for a 3rd Country to test its own implementation of IF2 - ‘Country C’. Country C wouldprovide its own simulated C-ITS service, cellular service provider and OBU/HMI. Country C would alsosubscribe to Country A’s IF2 using appropriate address and login details.

Cellular C-ITS ServiceThis service allows in-vehicle cellular OBUs to receive ITS services directly to vehicles over 3G/4Gcellular networks. The service generates multiple instances to test the architecture for crossboundary interoperability testing. Each instance can represent a real-world investor such as cellularservice providers, in-vehicle technology developers and car manufacturers. The service will providethe single point of access to cellular OBUs, independent of network (roaming / home) andindependent of OBU location. The service will:

· Receive CAM messages with GPS location, aggregating and publishing them to theinterchange node.

· Subscribe to interchange node IF2 C-ITS message queues, filtering them via GPS boundingcoordinates

· Employ the IF2 Quad Tree algorithm as part of AMQP message retrieval, transmitting asubsection of the available information to the Cellular OBU.

· Obtain data from the interchange node when a request is received from an authorisedvehicle outside the GPS bounding coordinates, but never directly from the other country C-ITS services (cross boundary interoperability test)

C-ITS In-StationThe C-ITS In-station application is the back-office function for managing RSUs, and over securecellular links, communicating scenario messages to RSUs. Simultaneously the application transfersduplicate messages to Interchange Node (founded on AMQP). Acting as a C-ITS services module, itdelivers the Amsterdam Group Day One Services (RWW, IVS, PVD, GLOSA).

For TESTFEST cross boundary and interoperability tests two instances are created: a simulated UKC-ITS Service and a simulated Country B C-ITS Service. Country of origin will not apply to backhaultransmission to the RSUs; all messages will be of UK origin messages for ITS-G5. Each messagefor ITS-G5 and cellular will have a unique identifier so OBUs can decipher the messages receivedfrom both cellular and ITSG5. Each message will be timestamped and logged for analysis using theanalytics service.

The simulation service facilitates the injection of test data in accordance with the scenarios definedin the evaluation plan. It will provide for pre-set updates at specific times and test repeatability. Theservice will ingest scenario scripts that will create on road scenarios based upon IVS and RWWsettings.

The IF2 Translator creates IF2 messages from IF1 payloads which are captured in an AMQPmessage. A quad tree geographical positional routing key is added Metadata. The IF2 system is anopen, vendor un-locked, standards compliant system.

PKI and cellular securityThe PKI hosting solution generates the public / private keys and certificates for securing ITSG5. Itprovides implementations of root certificate, enrolment and authorisation authorities and API’s toaccess the same. The PKI solution supports PKI ETSI 103097 V1.2.1. For TESTFEST thegenerated certificates will be provided to participants via a download link. This will be provided in anemail from the Costain Test Manager / Test Team. 4.9 DATA LOGGINGInterCor will define log formats for CAM, DENM and IVI in encoded (binary, xml) or decoded(csv, sql) formats. For applications we will produce a generic design in csv or sql format.Participants can deliver log data in this format via the provided USB stick collected by theevaluation team on completion of each session, or via upload to central repository.

Alternatively, participants use their own log format (with comparable content). In this caseparticipants must contact the Evaluation Manager in advance to specify the format.All data will be anonymised and used for evaluation purposes only.

4.10 EVALUATIONThe technical competence of the overall system and sub systems to deliver quality C-ITSservices to the user will be assessed. The impact on the road network resulting from thedelivery of the services and user acceptance of the system and services will also be assessed.To achieve this Randomized Control Trials and Staged Events will be implemented. TheEvaluation is described in full detail by the Evaluation Plan document this will be madeavailable on the InterCor website.

The Evaluation Plan will describe how relevant contextual and event data will be acquired,processed, stored and made available for analysis. Broadly, the evaluation will address the above research questions under two themes, highlevel and low level.

High level.OBU performance will be evaluated by observing the accuracy, timing (and where appropriate)display of messages. This will be in accordance with the Scenario plans provided which are anon-formal description of the expected test behaviour. The participants will be asked to fill in aresult sheet where they self-assign a test verdict per test scenario. This will consist of:

· PASS - all went according to the test scenario description

· FAIL, if no, incomplete or inopportune information was received by the OBU and / ordisplayed by the HMI of the OBU.

Should a FAIL verdict arise, participants will be asked to describe the details of the testOutcome. Test verdicts will be collated and an overall assessment of the interoperability forthe ITS-G5 services (RWW and IVS) will be made. This will be percentage figures per testscenario for the PASS/FAIL ratio, highlighting the most common problems that lead to FAILverdicts.

Low level.The performance of the C-ITS use cases is dependent on the timely and accurate receipt ofETSI messages. The processing and interpretation of CAM, DENM, IVI, SPAT and MAPmessages will be verified for the services under test RWW, IVS, PVD and GLOSA. ITS-G5and IF2 cellular communication performance will also be verified to evaluate the ITSG5,cellular, and cross border cellular service deployment, and the comparable effects on thequality and interoperability of services.

For the above purposes the system telecommunications, network and application layers willbe analysed along with log data from OBUs and RSUs. This analysis will verify interoperabilitydirectly during the TESTFEST, and for further evaluation of interoperability after theTESTFEST.

A common log format will be provided so that participants can provide their OBU log data withminimal development efforts either directly from unit logging or by transformation of theirexisting logging. Ideally participants should provide logging in the common format(s) duringthe TESTFEST, then the data can be analysed and evaluated in the debriefings during theTESTFEST. If this is not possible then, subject to prior approval, data in other formats iswelcomed for evaluation and will be included in the reporting shortly after the TESTFEST.

5.5 CATERINGDuring the TESTFEST, participants will have access to a range of catering services. Hotdrinks (tea and coffee) will be available for the duration of the venue being open (09:00 to17:30) Monday to Friday. Pastries will be available in the AM period, and a cold buffet lunch(sandwiches etc.) will be supplied from 13:00 until 14:00 on Monday, Wednesday andThursday. Lunch on Wednesday will be provided by TfL at the Urban Test Centre.
